I am surprised.
Maybe there are still a few, honest reporters left at AP.
If the Denver Post is an AP subscriber, they are not going to scoop themselves.
The Denver Post would get dibs on it, then they send it to the AP.
(At least that was how it was done years ago when I was in the biz)
The AP would then send a new lead or update to their subscribers with the latest info.
Or ... not ;-) I don’t know how they work it now. There’s a 24-hour news cycle now instead of AM, PM and “between cycle.”
Bwahahahahhah!! Thanks for the hearty laugh of the day!!
I got an update!

Subject: Follow up to your story.
It would appear that Dan Boniface and Kyle Clark were able to update the details to the vandalism story youd wrote yesterday. Although the information was easily accessible and verifiable.

I don’t understand your point.
I first wrote the story with minimal information yesterday and it has been updated since then several times.
Kyle is the reporter on the story today and was able to obtain additional information.
If you are suggesting any sort of bias-—you’re wrong.

So I came at her with:

I knew the vandal was not affiliated with republicans through a search of his name on the FEC website, and Google, the same hour it was posted on 9news. Why, if you wrote minimal information, didnt the story simply have that a crime occurred and a suspect was caught. Adding the opinion from the Democrat Partys Pat Waak seems like an added bias. Pointing the finger without using your finger, so to speak.
I would direct you to the posts in the, Reactions to the story, section of the link I provided, but someones been deleting a massive amount of posts there.
I also wrote to you about this yesterday, but never received a reply to my query.
Heres what I sent:
I read news that the person arrested for the vandalism was actually paid $500 last year by a group related to the SEIU members who have been caught on video many times assaulting people protesting the health care proposals from Washington right now.

In other words, this looks a lot like it was meant to be a setup to make the opposition to the health bill look bad.
Will there be an update to this story soon?

Thank you.
