As I understand it, New Mexico is the only state that allows alcoholic drinks to be purchased at a drive through window.Drive throughs were banned over five years ago in NM. Now you have to be sober enough to walk into a gas station convenience store. Here in SE NM on Friday nights, over half the store has cases of beer stacked head high.
