Rename the bill after Kennedy and the symbolism would be perfect: Kennedy died waiting for the bill to be passed just like hundreds of thousands of patients will die waiting for a government bureaucrat to decide whether or not they will get medical treatment under the bill’s provisions.

Renaming the bill won’t help. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it’s a duck. You can’t put lipstick on a pig and think it is anything more than just a pig with lipstick on either.

They know better than to name this bill after Kennedy, and this may be a clue into the thinking of the dems on this issue. If they feel it will pass—no doubts—then they will name it for Ted, but if they see the light as the rest of us do, then it will NOT be named after Ted.
