To satisfy everyone's curiosity, we offer the following, compiled from various sources:

In 1985, Dodd and fellow Senator Ted Kennedy were out (with dates) for a night on the town at La Brasserie. Much liquor was consumed--that will come as a shock to those of us familiar with Ted Kennedy--and the two Senators were at one point unaccompanied by their dates. The Senators made a "Waitress Sandwich" out of some poor, unsuspecting waitress.

If you're not entirely sure what that means, let's just say you wouldn't want to be the waitress.

Article clip, from the Hartford Courant:

"Dodd and Kennedy were also reported to have made a 'human sandwich' with a waitress at La Brasserie, another Capitol Hill restaurant. The report had it that Kennedy threw the woman on Dodd, who was slumped in a chair, and then jumped on top of her. She was said to have run screaming from the room."

.

Summary of 1989 Penthouse magazine article, summarized by the Washington Times:

"When she put in an appearance in their private retreat - 'The Teddy Kennedy Fun Room' - the Massachusetts senator picked her up and heaved her onto a table. The crystal candlesticks and champagne glasses shattered as he grabbed her again and flung her on top of Dodd.

"Then Kennedy threw himself on top of the woman. The waitress implored Mr. Kennedy to 'Get off me!'

"Another waitress entered to find 'things all tipped over and Kennedy was on top, [the waitress] was in the middle and Dodd was on the bottom.' At that point the sandwich was disassembled."

La Brasserie, a French restaurant on Capitol Hill, closed last month, after a 27-year history of catering to political bigwigs and Hollywood A-listers.

"It was quite a Hill institution," said Lynne Breaux, executive director of the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, who has eaten there several times. "It was a lovely restaurant."

La Brasserie was located in a town house on Massachusetts Avenue Northeast. It served such politicos as the late Sen. Daniel Moynihan, New York Democrat, former Vice President Al Gore and the late Rep. Sonny Bono, California Republican, as well as actors like Jimmy Stewart, Paul Newman and Jane Fonda, [and who could forget Ted Kennedy and Chris Dodd making unique contributions to our sandwich menu] said Lynne Campet, a former co-owner of the restaurant.

"A lot of important people dined there," she said.

Mrs. Campet and her husband, Raymond, bought the restaurant in 1978 with Gaby and Marie Aubouin. .

In 1992, the restaurant was sold to sisters Audrey and Karinne Dequeker, who could not be reached for comment yesterday.

Since no one will read the senate health care reform bill anyway, I'd like to see a Republican slip in the following amendment, co-sponsored by Sen Chris Dodd as follows, known as the Kennedy-Dodd Amendment:

"The Centers for Disease Control shall forthwith and hereafter commence and make cause to research the carcinogenic linkages of prostate and brain cancer to the 'Waitress Sandwich'."

Does anyone remember the Chocolate Sandwich scene from Lindsay Anderson’s “Oh Lucky Man” with Malcolm MacDowell (1973)?

It didn’t get as far as actual rape, but definitely assault.

I actually heard about this incident a number of years ago and always wondered why the waitress did not press charges.

"When they were both unattached, he and Senator Edward Kennedy were legendary Washington, D.C., hell-raisers..." Dodd and Kennedy formed a "human sandwich" with a female waiter, allegedly sexually assaulting the woman, as she was jammed between the two senators with Dodd on the bottom during a 1985 back-room romp at a Washington, D.C. eatery".

Always with the political correctness! They're writing a story about how a woman was assaulted by Kennedy and Dodd, yet they have to be mindful that she's not offended by calling her a WAITRESS! The left's thinking so damned skewed.

Lighen up.

What’s the point of becoming a powerful politician if you can’t indulge your every carnal pleasure wherever, whenever, and however you like?

You wondered why the waitress didn’t press charges? What would her chances have been? HE DIDN’T EVEN KILL HER. Mary Jo Kopeckne could not be reached for comment on this story.....

Teddy’s worst crime wasn’t this silly “assualt” or even the pre-meditated manslaughter he committed.

It was leading the legislative charge to disengage America from South Vietnam in 1975. We had WON that war. There was a peace treaty. The North would stay in the North. That was the objective of the war wasn’t it? But Liberals, led by “the Lion of the Senate”, “the Greatest senator of the 20th Century”, withdrew every kind of support for our allies in a post-watergate temper-tantrum. The result was and American military burdened with a reputation for having lost a war that it had WON, 175,000 free human beings being sent to re-education camps, the fall of Cambodia and 2 million slaughtered people, God knows how many dead South Vietnamese, and a million poor souls floating into the ocean looking to get away from Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Jane Fonda, and the American Left’s buddies, the communists.

I won’t be shedding any tears over poor little brother Ted. Call me “partisan”.

Not Rape, since no penetration seems to have occurred.

Assault, Battery, and probably Gross Sexual Imposition would seem to fit the bill, though.

Note that they also can’t just say ‘waiter’, because that would imply something else altogether.

Do you know how rare it is to see this mentioned? Not only did they withdraw the support for our allies, they did so in violation of the Paris Peace Accords committed to by this government. Everyone of those A$$holes should be in prison. I've been writing about it for some time.

I had a little discussion with an ARVN I worked with several years ago and got the heart-breaking tale from him.

In his words, "We were winning." "We had the training. We had the weapons...but we have no bullets." He got to experience those "re-education" camps first hand.

Everytime I think about what those b-tards in the Democrat Party did to our allies in Vietnam, I hear his words and I get so "F"-ing angry I could spit.

Ted Kennedy doesn't deserve Arlington, he deserves to be dumped in a sewer. "F" Ted Kennedy.
