The First United Methodist Church in Omaha, Nebraska hosted an interfaith prayer vigil on Sunday, August 23. The vigil was neither held in preparation of feast days of St. Louis, the heretic fighting King of France, who died during the Second Crusade, nor of St. Bartholomew the Apostle, the first Christian missionary to India.
The ceremony was rather conducted in celebration of the first day of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Muslim calendar, when the Angel Gabriel revealed the first verses of the Qur’an to the prophet Muhammad.
The vigil was held at 7 p.m., when the Maghrib is recited and Muslims can break from their fast.

They’ve been flushed out as being anti-Christ. They have far worse things to fear than their heads being chopped off.
The words “Depart from Me, I never knew you” will probably be heard by the “leadership” of that “church”.

What have churches become, social clubs? Many churches are becoming so blasphemous that it’s not even funny.
You know, if it’s ok for liberal churches to endorse Obamacare and not lose their tax-exempt status, then we TRUE churches should speak out against Tyrant Obama and his radical regime!
These liberals can’t have it one way. If they can preach Obama’s agenda, then WE can preach God’s agenda AND the conservative agenda!

This effort to equate the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Christ with the god of Mohammad is just another manifestation of their drift towards theological irrelevance.
Christians in general have become far too tolerant of attacks against their core beliefs, the centrality of Judaeo-Christian morality in western Civilization, and tolerance towards Islam in particular.
At this very moment, Christians are being murdered, raped, and beaten in Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Nigeria, etc. by Muslims purely over their religious beliefs.
Jews have long been targets of Islamic oppression going back well before the foundation of the state of Israel.
Buddhists, Hindus, animists, atheists, Zoroastrians, ANYONE who is NOT a Muslim is the target of Islamic violence all over the Middle East and now western Europe.
Even right here in America, most recently, a Muslim girl converted to Islam and is in hiding in Florida, seeking protection against an “honor” Killing in Ohio, where her family and neighbors have threatened her life.
Her story was on FOX News yesterday morning.
Why these degenerate western Christians can't get this through their head is beyond me.
I don’t believe in Islam. I therefore have no desire to celebrate it.
We left the UMC and went to an Evangelical Presbyterian Church. The EPC we go to considers the Bible to be a firm foundation and not a sliding scale as the liberal denominations do.

It is also a travesty to claim that the Muslims 'revere Mary, and that she is mentioned more times in the Koran, than in the Bible," because they often conflate Mariam, Moses' sister with the Virgin Mary.
Let's see...deny divinity of Jesus; salvation by works, not Grace; Jesus will return to kill the Jews and Christians; 'convert or die'...No; doesn't sound like the Doctrine of Jesus to me, but rather that they are "making void the Word of God."
