I'm not inclined to piss on anyone's grave. But for the Hufffington Post to throwup this editorial, gotta say I am up for pissing on them. All of a sudden they want to conject for the dead and defenseless? I've always filed the Kopechne incident under the "The rich and powerful get away with more things than us less rich and powerful" in my cabinet. People risk their lives on the line for their beliefs every day. A few even voluntarily give their lives. Their cause is important to the consideration of their virtue. In dieing Miss Kopechne never had the anything to do with that kind of consideration. Miss Kopechne never had a choice. She never had any choice in the risk of or decision to end her life. To ponder that she would have thought her death was "worth while" makes me sick.

As I recall, didn’t the Kopechne parents speak up for and endorse EMK? Maybe there was liberal coercion to do so.

I’m pretty sure her last thought on Kennedy wasn’t very pleasant...

We don't know how much Kennedy was affected by her deathWell, knowing that Teddy walked past a house and a fire station on the way to his hotel after abandoning... and then turned in for the night... I'm guessing not much...

Teddy went from being the cause of Mary Jo Kopechne’s death to decades in government. Her death didn't seem to bother him at all. I wonder where the soul of Ted Kennedy is?

I’ll piss on his grave. Ted Kennedy was a narcissistic, self centered, perverted, grade A, BASTARD. He thought nothing of sexually assaulting women any time he felt like it because he knew that he had enough money and power to financially, literally, and figuratively destroy anyone who spoke up. His whole career was made by using the power of government to steal from the working people and give the the lazy bastards.
May he rot in hell for the rest of eternity, that sorry excuse for an oxygen wasting human being.

Who knows maybe she'd feel it was worth it. Right. And Nichole Simpson maybe felt it was worth it for her to be murdered if it made OJ feel better.

If he wants to get inside Mary Jo’s head, let him first imagine what the last 15 or 20 minutes of her life were like, in total darkness, struggling to get a breath and find a way out of that car, struggling to not breath in the water...

The “Swimmer” left Mary Jo to die. It may have taken her 1-3 hours to die. There was a small air pocket in the car.Mary Jo died a HORRIBLE death! The “Swimmer” should have been prosecuted for 2nd degree murder and should be inprisoned for several years. That would ruined his senate career.Teddy is an abysmal, loud mouth, obscenely obese, alcoholic DIRT BALL!

True. But it should at least make one cautious before exercising the right to expose that ignorance with public statement.
