As one who IS ELIGIBLE because I received a PH, I am perfectly aware of the allowances for those who did not serve in battle and did not receive commendations for their service as I did.
BTW, “who have received the Purple Heart of the Congressional Medal of Honor” is inaccurate.
One doesn't receive a PH “of” the CMOH. Those are two entirely different commendations.
Chappaquiddick Teddy has been suffering from “Mind Cancer” all his life.
Fat Teddy has been completely ignorant of economics and human yearning for freedom from subservience to a fascist gov’t.
Truth is, Ted was never popular with the people. They make like him in Massachusetts, but that is where it ends.
He might have done better if he wouldn’t of covered up Chappaquiddick. His unfavorability was his own fault.
Thats why all of this Phony baloney coverage on national TV is ridiculous.
All of this coverage shouldn’t be aired outside of Massachusttes.

Agreed. I guess this means I have finally exhibited some growth as a Christian. There were those folks in the past whom I felt terribly wronged me in some way. I used to say with no small amount of satisfaction that I hoped I'd be standing beside Christ as he cast them into the Pit of Hell. Now that thought is pretty revolting to me and I think that all I will feel when the Great White Throne of Judgment is finished and the unbelievers (many of whom I will have known -- perhaps from my own family) are cast into the Lake of Fire is a terrible sadness. Since Heaven is a place where sadness and pain doesn't exist, Jesus will have his work cut out for HIM to get me over my depression that so many will suffer an eternity of Hell.
Calm down. I made a typo..sorry about that. Yes the PH and the MOH are two different medals and people, as you say, do not win them, they receive them for heroic actions. My husband is a retired member of the Armed Forces who has a chest full of medals one of which is the PH. He flew 407 fixed wing combat missions in two tours in Viet Nam.
For those who are not aware of the regs for Arlington I merely quoted the requirements as stated in the document provided by the MOAA.
That said, there are different classifications others may not be aware of regarding who is eligible for Arlington.
