Ted Kennedy: The Senator of Sleaze who was a drunk sexual bully... and left a young woman to die
Daily Mail ^

Posted on 08/27/2009 11:37:56 PM PDT by Chet 99

Senator Edward 'Ted' Kennedy stood for sleaze. Bloated and drunken, he used his standing in the Kennedy clan to chase vulnerable women - which brought his dream of reaching the White House to a shameful end.

He was the youngest of the four Kennedy brothers, and by far the longest lived.

Incredibly, he was in line to inherit his brother John F. Kennedy's legendary presidency, but his chances were dashed following the drowning of the pretty, young campaign assistant Mary Jo Kopechne.

Forever known as the Chappaquiddick Incident after the Massachusetts island where it took place, the scandal in 1969 broke the Kennedy grip on the White House.

A drunk Ted had been driving back from a party to the family 'compound' on Martha's Vineyard when he veered off a bridge and into a deep tidal dyke.

Drowned: Mary Jo Kopechne was killed after Ted Kennedy drove his car off a bridge with her inside

Mary Jo was in the back seat and, while he claimed he was just giving her a lift back to her hotel, it was widely thought that he had picked her up for sex. Kennedy swam ashore to save himself, but left Mary Jo to drown - in fact, it was even worse than that.

It was nine hours before he reported the accident. In the meantime, he walked back to his motel, complained to the manager about a noisy party, took a shower, went to sleep, ordered newspapers when he woke up and spoke to a friend and two lawyers before finally calling the police.

He was also a traitor who in 1983 approached the KGB to form an alliance with select Senators running a fornt company- against President Ronald Reagan.

May Ted sleep in eternity with Yuri Andropov, his father Joe, and the souls of aborted children

Personally, I still don’t know why everyone is so infatuated by a Jew-hating, Nazi-loving, husband-cheating, bootlegging, insider trading, daughter lobotomizing, mafia-colluding, election stealing, vote-buying, exam-cheating, Sammy Davis Jr dissing, MLK-wiretapping, wife-swapping, drugged up, clap-spreading, white-guilt, women killing—2x—drug-dealing, drug-overdozing, alcoholic, terrorist-funding raising, Anglo-hating, waitress sandwiching, pro-abortion, Catholic-in name only, Chavez loving family?

SHE DID NOT DROWN. She lived for hours, using up the oxygen in an air pocket in the overturned car. There was no water in her lungs. She died a slow, painful death by asphyxiation.

Most important: She was alive during the hours Kennedy spent walking past a house with a light on, calling lawyers, fabricating an alibi (which failed when the car was discovered), etc.

I have been predicting that Archbishop Sean O’Malley would be discovered hiding in a linen closet the week of Kennedy’s funeral. I was wrong. Archbishop O’Malley will be in Denver, for “a family wedding.” I wonder whose family in Denver was recruited to “invite” O’Malley.

Meanwhile, the priests at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Basilica in Boston are all a-twitter, hosting the “Catholic” funeral of the most famous baby-murderer in the world.

Conservatives have been betrayed by the Republican Party.
When the Department of Education was created during the Carter administration, GOP politicians pledged to dismantle it when they got into power. Now they have not only doubled the size of the department, but they have also passed the No Child Left Behind Act. Republicans also promised to reduce government spending and to reduce the size and scope of the federal government, but instead of doing what they had promised to do, they created the worst budget deficit in American history and wasted no time in spending as much as they could as fast as they could. They promised to reform welfare, but apparently their idea of reform is to expand the welfare state through “faith-based” programs and prescription drug entitlements. They criticized Clinton for NAFTA, but they saw no problem in pushing through DR-CAFTA once they were the ones in control. Their loyalty to the American middle class was quickly replaced by a convenient mass epiphany of the new possibilities that economic and political globalism brings. National sovereignty has also been deemed to be of lesser importance than it was when the Democrats were in power. According to the GOP, the UN is a worthless and ineffective organization that is a threat to American sovereignty, but apparently it is credible enough to use UN Security Council resolutions as an excuse to bypass our own constitution to start wars with third-world nations. The party that supposedly opposes big government has bought into the statism of the Bush administration. The GOP used to care about the rights and liberties of American citizens, but they now use scare tactics to silence these same people, so that they can push through unconstitutional and tyrannical legislation, such as the Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act. There is now no conservative party represented in Washington. The federal government is now run by big-government Democrats and big-government Republicans.

Given this betrayal of conservatives by their own party and president, why doesn’t a greater portion of the GOP base wake up and see what is going on here? It is party loyalty that blinds them. Part of what Republicans campaigned on in 2000 was criticizing Clinton’s interventionist aggressive wars, but only because Clinton was a Democrat. In Somalia, Bosnia, and Kosovo, Republicans were the first ones to criticize Clinton, but the reason they didn’t take a strong stand against these wars is the same reason the Democrats won’t do the same with Iraq. They wanted to “support our troops”. Cliches such as this are designed to distract Americans from failed policies. It was the Clinton Democrats who began this escalation towards war against Iraq with the Iraqi Liberation Act in 1998. If Iraq had been another “Clinton war”, as it very well may have been if there were not a two-term limit, I guarantee that the Republicans would be calling for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq as the Democrats are doing now. The fact that these two parties behave the same way should be a clear indicator that perhaps there really is not much of a difference between them. Republicans are sticking by an incompetent and dishonest president out of party loyalty. That is the same reason that they accept substandard journalism from The Fox News Channel. Accepting propoganda has become preferable to accepting reality. As much as the GOP continues to betray its base, they will still maintain many loyal supporters who buy into the illusion of legitimacy. These people would vote for Hitler if he ran as a Republican and told people that he talks to Jesus, while waving a big American flag and scaring people with propaganda about terrorists and secularists who threaten our American way of life. Out of the presidential candidates currently seeking the Republican nomination, the only one who isn’t a fake is Ron Paul. John McCain summed up the GOP’s problem nicely in a debate in which he said that the Republicans “Came to change Washington, but Washington changed us.” Ron Paul responded truthfully, “Washington didn’t change me.” His record in his ten terms in Congress confirm the truthfulness of that statement. I think it’s time for Republicans to show some integrity and put these impostors out of a job, and elect honest people like Congressman Ron Paul.

His brothers got away with it, but Ted Kennedy's divorce removed the last bounds of shame and he plunged into a life that left him looking like a Saturday night drunk, waving a bottle and calling for any woman who could tolerate him. He staggered from scandal to scandal, reduced to fodder for lurid ' supermarket' tabloid newspapers.

One congressional aide, just 16, told of being propositioned by Kennedy from the back seat of his limousine in Capitol Hill. She testified that he leaned from the window, waved a wine bottle and asked whether she or a friend she was with wanted to join him.

He reeked of drink by nine in the morning and could be relied on to be bawling drunk at four in the afternoon. In Washington's top La Brasserie restaurant, he once threw a waitress over a table in a private room and tried to have sex with her.

His face, once handsome, became as round as a football, bloated and criss-crossed with the broken veins of an out-of-control drinker.

Remarkably, he held on to his political clout and his legislative skills. He won re-election after reelection, dying in office as America's second-longest serving senator.

He was also responsible - or credited by the Left - for an unrivalled body of 'liberal' legislation. He reformed immigration and labour laws, supported 'pro-choice' abortion rights, voted for tougher gun laws and against the Iraq war, and supported gay marriage.

Already Mary Jo is a top google search.

Attempting to rename Obama-care health rationing will also backfire. The obvious fact to point out is that the bloated sack used eveything he could to try to stay alive. He didn’t just take a pain pill.

I know you have been banned already, but just in case you decide to come back and see what people here think of you, read this.

You are a worthless pile of steaming donkey excrement. You lay around in the basement of your parent’s (probably don’t have a daddy) home, posting on sites like DU, KOS and HUFFPO. You brag about all the “buddies” you have on the Internet, but don’t realize that no one knows you are a just a lazy bum. You couldn’t pour liquid human excrement out of a boot with instructions written on the top, bottom and both sides. People like you should be in a straight jacket on the way to a prison.

There are other people with your IQ currently serving in the US Congress. Just look at the (d) side of the aisle, and you are probably at the top of the IQ list. The swimmer teddy is probably your true political hero, since he is stoned most of the day. Either he is or Robert KKK Byrd may be. Or are you more on the SAN FRAN NAN side? Maybe B Hussein O is your leftwing hero.

Did you have a few too many snorts of cocaine with your Tequila this morning? Why don’t you go to the local office and collect your stinking food stamps and go buy your liquor and cigarettes for the week? Druggies like you should not be allowed anywhere near a computer. That can be dangerous, since you may accidently access a porn site and that could affect your IQ even worse at your age.

Just leave us alone to have our intelligent political discussion. Well, you don’t know what intelligence is, which is evident by your totally ignorant initial post. What is with liberals like you? You have to mess up the Internet with your whiny, juvenile ideas. I know first graders who have much more intellect than you exhibited with your little rant. There is nothing that indicates any amount of intelligence.

Does your mommy know you are alone with her computer? You should be banned from ever being allowed anywhere near any electronics again, since you may accidently shock yourself. Well, that could do some good and ensure you never reproduce any offspring. Go back to doing what you Dummies do best – trash anyone you disagree with and praise the idiot democrats who hate America.

Whatever the case, you should never be allowed to vote in any election. It takes some understanding of politics to understand that every candidate and his or her supporters agree with and have the courage to ensure that agenda is good for America.

I gotta thank you Libertarians for reminding me from time to time why I chose to vote republican.

We certainly are not political perfection, and yes we did get snookered a few times by our politicians and failed deal making with dimmowits.

The thing is, no third party will ever be more than a footnote in our political structure. Neither major party will ever allow that. They will work together if necessary to prevent it.

You can have Ron Paul, but his son looks interesting and may actually achieve something as opposed to being the butt of a joke.

Should this country totally collapse under it's own weight and the government is tarred and feathered.....or worse..., Ron Pauls ideas may have some merit as a way to restart the process, but until then, I find his ideas a mental gymnastic exercise only.

A lady I went to High School with posted this on her Facebook page yesterday!:

Properly Remembering Teddy
Courtesy of Lorrie

The last of The Kennedy Dynasty

As soon as his cancer was detected, I noticed the immediate attempt at the “canonization” of old Teddy Kennedy by the mainstream media. They are saying what a “great American” he is. I say, let’s get a couple things clear & not twist the facts to change the real history.

1. He was caught cheating at Harvard when he attended it. He was expelled twice, once for cheating on a test, and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him.

2. While expelled, Kennedy enlisted in the Army, but mistakenly signed up for four years instead of two. Oops! The man can’t count to four! His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, former U.S. Ambassador to England (a step up from bootlegging liquor into the US from Canada during prohibition), pulled the necessary strings to have his enlistment shortened to two years, and to ensure that he served in Europe, not Korea , where a war was raging. No preferential treatment for him! (like he charged that President Bush received).

3. Kennedy was assigned to Paris , never advanced beyond the rank of Private, and returned to Harvard upon being discharged. Imagine a person of his “education” NEVER advancing past the rank of Private!

4. While attending law school at the University of Virginia , he was cited for reckless driving four times, including once when he was clocked driving 90 miles per hour in a residential neighborhood with his headlights off after dark.. Yet his Virginia driver’s license was never revoked. Coincidentally, he passed the bar exam in 1959. Amazing!

5. In 1964, he was seriously injured in a plane crash and hospitalized for several months. Test results done by the hospital at the time he was admitted had shown he was legally intoxicated. The results of those tests remained a “state secret” until in the 1980’s when the report was unsealed. Didn’t hear about that from the unbiased media, did we?

6. On July 19, 1969, Kennedy attended a party on Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts . At about 11:00 PM, he borrowed his chauffeur’s keys to his Oldsmobile limousine and offered to give a ride home to Mary Jo Kopechne, a campaign worker. Leaving the island via an unlit bridge with no guard rail, Kennedy steered the car off the bridge, flipped, and into Poucha Pond.

7. He swam to shore and walked back to the party passing several houses and a fire station. Two friends then returned with him to the scene of the accident. According to their later testimony, they told him what he already knew - that he was required by law to immediately report the accident to the authorities. Instead Kennedy made his way to his hotel, called his lawyer, and went to sleep. Kennedy called the police the next morning and by then the wreck had already been discovered. Before dying Kopechne had scratched at the upholstered floor above her head in the upside-down car. The Kennedy family began “calling in favors”, ensuring that any inquiry would be contained. Her corpse was whisked out-of-state to her family before an autopsy could be conducted.Further details are uncertain, but after the accident Kennedy says he repeatedly dove under the water trying to rescue Kopechne and he didn’t call police because he was in a state of shock. It is widely assumed Kennedy was drunk, and he held off calling police in hopes that his family could fix the problem overnight. Since the accident Kennedy’s “political enemies” have referred to him as the distinguished Senator from Chappaquiddick. He pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident, and was given a SUSPENDED SENTENCE OF TWO MONTHS. Kopechne’s family received a small payout from the Kennedy’s insurance policy and never sued. There was later an effort to have her body exhumed and autopsied, but her family successfully fought against this in court, and Kennedy’s family paid their attorney’s bills.... a “token of friendship”?

8. Kennedy has held his Senate seat for more than forty years, but considering his longevity, his accomplishments seem scant. He authored or argued for legislation that ensured a variety of civil rights, increased the minimum wage in 1981, made access to health care easier for the indigent, funded Meals on Wheels for fixed-income seniors, and is widely held as the “standard-bearer for liberalism”. In his very first Senate roll he was the floor manager for the bill that turned U.S.immigration policy upside down and opened the floodgate for immigrants from third world countries..

9. Since that time, he has been the prime instigator and author of every expansion of an increase in immigration up to and including the latest attempt to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. Not to mention the pious grilling he gave the last two Supreme Court nominees, as if he was the standard bearer for the nation in matters of “what is right” What a pompous *ss!

10. He is known around Washington as a public drunk, loud, boisterous, and very disrespectful to ladies. JERK is a better description than “great American”. “A blonde in every pond” is his motto.

Let’s not allow the spin doctors to make this jerk a hero — how quickly the American public forgets what his real legacy is.

I was just listening to the Howie Carr show here in Boston. He said someone hung a bed sheet on one of the overpasses between Cranston and Providence, RI on RTE. 95 this morning (they got it inside the fencing so it was harder to take down). It said “REMEMBER MARY JO”.
