If you think about what is going on in DC, it is all coming together. I’m sure that this bill that MA is adopting will be national very soon. Like someone already stated in a previous post....there will be a few outbreaks, and they may even get bad in some areas. You have the socialist media hype it into another “crisis”. By that time their diversity law will have been enacted and we will not hear what is really going on by programs such as Glenn Beck. On top of that the internet will be shut down, because of a “crisis” and no one will be able to communicate via email and such. We will be forced into participation in this quagmire of national healthcare, so that “every citizen” may afford treatment for the “crisis”. If you don’t go with the program then they will drop in on you uninvited and “interrogate” you and more likely “quarantine” you so that you won’t “infect” anyone else. This will be done by the civilian army waiting in the wings. Oh, and by the way...has anyone thought about why it will be so easy to corral several thousand people to these camps without a fight??? That is because they will have disarmed us during the “crisis”. Just my humble opinion.
That’s the problem: we don’t know what is in the swine flu shot. I have tried to find out, but there is no info.
Wont work down in NC. Too many automatic weapons.
It’s not how many weapons you have - it’s how much ammo. Start stocking up guys!
A chip?
A sterilization?
Something that will slowly kill you or harm your body as time goes on?
Something that will kill you (like in 1918 and 1976)?
I’m not taking any chances.
Oh and from what I’ve read about the “swine flu”, it’s about as dangerous as the regular seasonal flu that goes around every year. With proper care and attention and taking Vitamin D and other vitamins, it appears not to be that big of a threat.
So I wonder, why the importance of having this kind of “emergency vaccine” and why it is so important they have to start forcing people to take it.
What are they trying to pass along?
Me thinks: is not the flu or the shots, is the ‘state of emergency’ that matters, as martial law can thus be put in place. Just sayin’
My husband is just sayin that same thing, every day!!

Thank you
I thank God I'm a Texan.
I can't imagine Texas ever knuckling under to this BS.
Nothing in this section shall
19 supersede the normal operating authority of the local public health authorities, provided that
20 such authority shall not be exercised in a manner that conflicts with any procedure or order
21 issued by the Commissioner to assure the maintenance of public health and the prevention of
22 disease during such emergency.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
The way I read this it says that this will not supersede the authority of the local healtha authorities as long as they don’t get in the way! In other words we won’t slap them down as long as we don’t need to.
Im sure that this bill that MA is adopting will be national very soon.
______
If you had read the linked article, you would see that a national law allowing mandatory vaccinations was put in place in 2006 by GW.
is this the deal that Obama cut with the phama industry to get them on board with national healthcare? (cut me a price break, and I’ll make sure you guys close the Mother of All Vaccine Sales by the first qtr. of ‘10...)

I agree that thank God I am a Texan but if we don’t keep up the good fight demographics could lead to elections that would change our state to be more like Mass.
I think enough Texans don’t want that and hope we all continue to fight to prevent it
I can’t understand anyone in Mass thinking this bill was a good thing
You Texans crack me up ...
Current Texas law allows a physician to withdraw life-sustaining treatment (including food and water) from a patient despite the patients directive or expressed wishes.

dmz
do you have any understanding about what went on in the link you posted?
care to tell us the specifics?
Yes, I made a tongue in cheek response to a Texan patting herself on the back because they wouldn’t knuckle under to mandatory vaccination law (even though a federal law already exists from the GW admin - a Texan I might add with nary a trace of irony), pointing out that an ill Texan can be denied medical care on the basis of what a doctor and an ethics team decide.
Any other questions?
