what’s the story on this email I’ve seen saying Kennedy attended every military funeral? If he did, did he go as a code pink member? or a part of that nutty ass church that pickets funerals?

My wife has it on to see what music will be used. I’m curious to see if anyone will have the courage to call the good Senator out on his refusal to accept church teaching on abortion.

Some thoughts:

“Holy God We Praise Thy Name” is an unusual entrance song. It is usually sung at the end of benediction.

I was surprised the Responsorial Psalm was not sung.

The second reading from Romans 8 is one of my favorite Gospel verses. It was agonizing to hear how badly it was read.

The Gospel reading was food for thought. Is Teddy wheat or chaff? Only God will decide.

Just did a google search on Bill Clinton Parkinson's Disease. All sorts of links pop up. In March of this year Bill said he had been tested and that he did not have it. Sure was shaking like PD to me...

From the sounds of the remarks made last night at the wake in the library, Reggie at least put direction in his private life where he had been quite the gad about, a drunken sot.
I don’t know much about Reggie but no doubt this is a hard time for her and it shows on her face. I don’t know, there is so much activity prior to the funeral itself and somehow the idea has seeped into her mind that soon he will be under ground.
