Surveilling for our enemies. How does ACLU targeting the CIA make us safer?
The Washington Times ^ | August 29, 2009 | Michelle Malkin

Savor the silence of America's self-serving champions of privacy. For once, the American Civil Liberties Union has nothing bad to say about the latest case of secret domestic surveillance -- because it was the ACLU that did the spying.

Last week, The Washington Post reported on a new Justice Department inquiry into photographs of undercover CIA officials and other intelligence personnel taken by ACLU-sponsored researchers assisting the defense team of Guantanamo Bay detainees. According to the report, the pictures of covert American CIA officers -- "in some cases surreptitiously taken outside their homes" -- were shown to jihadi suspects tied to the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in order to identify the interrogators.

The ACLU undertook the so-called "John Adams Project" with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers -- last seen crusading for convicted jihadi assistant Lynne Stewart. She's the far-left lawyer who helped Shaikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, convicted mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and New York landmark bombing plot, smuggle coded messages of Islamic violence to outside followers in violation of an explicit pledge to abide by her client's court-ordered isolation.

What sort of changes in America would make the ACLU happy?

1. Dismantal the CIA,
2. Dismantal the FBI,
3. Dismantal our armed forces,
4. Dismantal our churches,
5. Dismantal the Constitution,
6. Dismantal our Liberties,

hmmm....that would leave us with;
No America,
No Civil Liberties,
No Union....???
Maybe “The Communist Infiltration League” would be more appropriate?

“These dudes could bump off the ACLU members just by thinking about it....so why the hell are these ACLU members still alive?”
Two reasons I can think of.
First, there are only two types of CIA employees. Patriots and Commie sympathizers. The patriots wouldn't do it because it's illegal and immoral. The commie sympathizers won't hit their own. Did you ever wonder why there's no “whistle blowing” happening now that we know the socialists are in power? Intelligence professionals know that the DemonRATS are communists and are ruthless. The media will crucify anyone they can that makes allegations against “their boy”.

Second, the CIA is not legally allowed to conduct surveillance domestically. That being said, there is a lot to be learned about ones enemies by keeping your mouth shut and taking notes as they expose themselves for who and what they are.
