Eric Holder’s Hidden Agenda: The investigation isn’t about torture, but about transnationalism.
Nice Deb; NRO ^ | 08-28-2009 | Andrew McCarthy

"I believe the explanation lies in the Obama administration’s fondness for transnationalism, a doctrine of post-sovereign globalism in which America is seen as owing its principal allegiance to the international legal order rather than to our own Constitution and national interests.

"Recall that the president chose to install former Yale Law School dean Harold Koh as his State Department’s legal adviser. Koh is the country’s leading proponent of transnationalism. He is now a major player in the administration’s deliberations over international law and cooperation. Naturally, membership in the International Criminal Court, which the United States has resisted joining, is high on Koh’s agenda. The ICC claims worldwide jurisdiction, even over nations that do not ratify its enabling treaty, notwithstanding that sovereign consent to jurisdiction is a bedrock principle of international law."

Nice Deb: "A few days ago, I asked why the Obama Justice Dept. was reopening the CIA abuse case. I wondered what they had to gain from investigating the people who kept us safe for eight years when an overwhelmingly majority of Americans disapprove of it. There were some good suggestions in the comments. Jackstraw hinted ominously:

"Hillary Clinton came out the other day and explicitly endorsed the world court and bemoaned the fact that the US is not a player in it … yet.""

We Americans have a lot of work to do scraping this crap off of the bottom of our shoes in 2010 and 2012.

This is the article Rush was talking about yesterday. Leave it to Ubama and Holder and the rest of those cowardly scumbags to look for a sneaky, back-door way to try to harass Cheney and Bush.

It's about the destruction of capitalist America and advancement of global communism/socialism.

"Fraunces Tavern is a restaurant and museum in lower Manhattan, New York City. It was built on the site of a former building which played a significant role in pre-Revolutionary activities, and in which, on 4 December 1783, General George Washington bade farewell to his officers at the end of the Revolution, before returning to his home, Mount Vernon."

"During the 1970s and 1980s, FALN members set off at least 138 bombs in five major U.S. Cities. Six Americans were killed in those attacks. One of those bombings, in January 1975, was at the historic Fraunces Tavern in lower Manhattan while patrons were at lunch. The explosion killed four and injured more than 50."

"Between 1974 and 1985 the FALN (Puerto Rican Armed Forces of National Liberation) organized 120 terrorist bombings in the United States. Many Americans were killed in those bombings, and many more were crippled. In 1983, another Puerto Rican terrorist group known as the Macheteros, attacked and robbed a Wells Fargo armored car in Connecticut. The Macheteros intended to use the money to finance a terrorist campaign against the United States. Working under the cover of Puerto Rican nationalism and claiming to act on behalf of the 'oppressed people of Puerto Rico,' the FALN and the Macheteros are nothing but Communist revolutionaries. Both groups were organized by Fidel Castro's secret police. The ultimate goal of the FALN and the Macheteros is the creation of an independent Marxist-Leninist dictatorship on the island of Puerto Rico."

Why The Obama Justice Dept is reopening Controversial CIA Abuse Case

Why did x42 spend millions assassinating a few camels? Because the alternate news for the day was too damning.

I’m not of the opinion we have that long. Conservative constituents need to make their representatives know that silence is not an option. There has been enough time for the House & the Senate to see that we have a Socio-fascist coup in progress.

And do moderate Dem representatives and senators actually think they are going to be able to keep their jobs?

And when will it dawn on the MSM that their jobs will be replaced by the very group of thugs they are presently championing?

thanks for those; I have been reseaching & I know some Freeper has done it before me-—if I could only locate it. I already had you on my “go-to” Freeper list because your posts are so good (also, another Freeper suggested you.) I appreciate the work you are doing.

Like I said, I don’t think we have another 2 1/2 yrs to ride out. My greatest hope is that somehow BHO is forced to resign.

It has nothing to do with the advancement of the muslim religion. It's *all* about communism/socialism.

Amazon Book Review:
"Vastly Illuminating!" September 25, 2004
By Kat Bakhu

"I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.

It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.

Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.

This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air."

Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left -by David Horowitz
Not all dissent is equal, and Americans whose actions are calculated to give aide and comfort to the butchers who murdered 3,000 innocent people on September 11, 2001 are not patriotic at all... they are, in fact, quite the opposite.

Thanks for all that. I appreciate it. :)

And you’re right. He SHOULD be forced to resign. It couldn’t be more obvious that his aim is to destroy America as we know it. The guy has spent his whole entire life around people and groups that seek the destruction of America and Capitalism.

It’s not that this is the first time. There have been 4 or 5 occasions where newspaper stories were planted that Obama’s doing something or other about the CIA.

They all have one thing in common. They immediately succeed news cycles where Obama is shown to have misled, say on health care.

These maneuvres are red meat for baby boom urban liberals still pining to get at the military or CIA.
