The Soviet era memo showing Ted Kennedy working against American interests
American Thinker ^ | 8/29/2009 | Rick Moran

Some would go farther and say that the memorandum from Victor Chebrikov, the top man at the KGB that was addressed to Yuri Andropov, the top man in the entire USSR, outlining a secret proposal made by Senator Ted Kennedy to the Soviets to help them "understand Reagan" in return for their help in making him president, constitutes treason.

It's not a word to throw around lightly and the reason I refrain from using it is because I am unsure Kennedy's actions meet the definition. Kennedy was not in direct contact with Andropov, using his good friend John Tunney, former senator from California, as a messenger boy to deliver the proposal to the Soviets. And he wasn't proposing to betray any secrets.

The key point of that whole article is that Kennedy did not deny the existence of the letter, simply the interpretation.

Note how they are trying to pin it on a “notorious loose-cannon”.

Hell, I will bet without checking the guy is long dead.

The MSM doesn’t care. Marla Mapes and Dan Rather wouldn’t “run with it” if it was shoved in their little faces. If the same was shown to be true about a Republican - we’d never hear the end of it.

If this is true, this is TREASON! And also explains why he was so quick to embrace the Marxist Obama.

Hell they’re STILL fixated on Watergate - 35 years later.

Schweizer, after scouring once-classified KGB, East German Stasi and Soviet Communist Party files, discovered incontrovertible evidence that the Soviets not only played footsie with high-ranking Democrats, they also worked behind the scenes to influence American elections.

In “Reagan’s War,” Schweizer shows how the Democrats worked with Moscow to try to undermine Reagan before and after he became president.

Especially considering we were fighting a proxy war against them in Central America. Now we know the real reason the Democrats opposed Contra funding.

Same as the Reagan plan for the Cold War: "We win, they lose."

Of course, by "we," Reagan meant all Americans and all democracies, and by "they," the Soviet Union. For Democrats "we," was us (Democrat polls) and you (The Soviet leaders), and "they" meant Republicans.
