They Just Couldn't Resist

What these sleazebags won't do to pass national health care! Dems today pushed for Obamacare at Teddy Kennedy's funeral. And, they used a child as a prop.

They politicized Ted Kennedy's funeral just as they politicized Wellstone's -- before the body was even cold. They even booed Tom DeLay and then-Gov. Jesse Ventura for the horrible crime of paying their respects.

This is shameful conduct by shameless people.

It wouldn’t be a funeral without Libs politicizing it.

Will that church now lose its tax-exempt status?

Of course not.

That would only happen when conservatives bring up political issues in church—which doesn’t usually happen.

They just can’t help themselves.

They have to know that nothing on the scale of what is being proposed by the Rats has ever been tried on the face of the earth. We do know by empirical observation that as the country gets bigger, a national health service gets more and more unmanageable. This is why Canada’s is worse than Britain’s, which in turn is worse than Sweden’s. And California alone has more people than Canada. It Just. Won’t. Work.

Did the next little kid get up and pray that Mitch McConnell and Tom Coburn would vote FOR the Ted Kennedy Socialized Obamacare Government Takeover Bill? SHades of Rick Kahn?

>>Kahn told the crowd of roughly 20,000: “We are begging you to help us win this Senate election for Paul Wellstone.” He urged Republicans to give up their opposition and let Mondale win with bipartisan support—a clever invocation of bipartisanship to achieve a partisan end, the election of a Democrat. Kahn even called on a Republican House member, Jim Ramstad, by name, saying he should help Democrats win the Senate race. —Weekly Standard

Agreed on all points. And that is when and why we will need Global Health Care. That is where all this “intellectual” intent crap is heading.

Would anybody really be so bad at PR as to want to rename Obama’s health care initiative after the late Senator Ted? Don’t they understand the inevitable power of alliterative K’s? (Just ask Krusty the Klown.)

This was a bit too much for me—because they want to make it the Teddy Kennedy Bill I am more against it. If Teddy was so great how come he was never a president? Why, the people smelled a rat.

A few years ago they used 10-year-old Graem Frost to push S-CHIP state health care for children (up to age 29!) It turned out that the Frosts were a trust fund family who owned 3 SUVs and a rental office building, and chose not to get health insurance.

Ted Kennedy is asked in 1979 why he wants to be President and does not have an answer.

So concentrated on trying to pull away from Chappaquiddick that he never put his mind to the obvious. Not even to say it was for the furtherance of a litany of liberal ideals.

Did you see them having that little grandson of his recite lines about passing healthcare “reform” within a Jesus prayer!!! No wonder the Vatican detested this man and his family. Disgusting. What a blot they all are on this nation. How did we ever let the vile Joe Kennedy and his progeny reach such an exalted place in America?

I just got back from a Jimmy Buffett show at Alpine Valley. He actually had a little video to one of his songs that featured a farewell to Ted Kennedy.

Just one of the many reasons it was easily the worst concert I have ever seen and I have been a Buffett fan for 30 years now.

Creepy - 19 years ago plus what - four or five days? Stevie Ray Vaughan played his last concert there, and died.

Ventura was all over the map. I remember him answering a question when he was a candidate (don't recall for sure what the question was about, maybe housing) with the reply "that's not government's job". Couldn't have said it better myself! Other times he seemed to toe the liberal line.
