Facts don’t matter anymore. In a hundred years, no one will remember the insane forecasts, so they can just keep making new ones and new laws to save the world.

It’s about control, not the environment.

I like where I live. We have 4 definite seasons. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mardi Gras and summer.

Algore is a lying, criminal moron, but we all knew that from the Clinton years.

So will the Crap and Tax bill if passed bring back summers again
for the all-wise Progressives? Petard meets hook.

Yeah and 30 years ago the talk was all about Global Cooling and how we were headed for a new ice age. Now the theory is that global warming will somehow cause an Ice Age. It is, of course, complete bull

I live in South Jersey.

We had some humid days and hot ones too, but not one three digit day.

It’s sunny but only 62 in Detroit right now. 62. In the mid afternoon. In AUGUST.

In other news this is the deepest solar minimum in almost 100 years.

Has anyone ever been asked to return a Nobel Prize?

As you can see, the winners always keep it.

Medical science firmly believed that schizophrenia could be cured by infecting the sufferer with malaria (Nobel Prize, 1927) or by cutting out bits of brain (Nobel Prize, 1949) before settling—for the moment?—on drugs. Diseases like mad cow disease were firmly believed to be caused by lentiviruses (Nobel Prize, 1976) until the firm belief became that they are caused not by viruses but by prions (Nobel Prize, 1997).

Winner in 1997 was awarded one for believing the 1976 winner wrong.

We here in South Texas must be on the other side of the line of demarcation.

67 100+ days. 2 days away from the all-time record. (since 1854)

(They are predicitng for us to have a cold winter though.)

We usually get about ten three digit days during the summer, although I recall one year when we had 20 days in a row of +100 degrees.

I was working on a farm that summer.

Where did you hear that prediction!! I need something to get me through these unbearable days of 100 degrees plus! I think it’s been 67 or more straight days and my patience is wearing thin! Last year we didn’t have much of a winter in Central Texas either so I’m hoping and praying.
