As the Obama Creep Show continues, the president just gave a very strange address on TV. He stood there, warning of the H1N1 swine flu pandemic, and asked people to cough into their sleeves. He warned that older people may become more ill than younger people. He said that people should be aware of their health. He urged people to get flu vaccine injections. He implied that we are on the brink of a disaster on the scale of the 1918 flu which killed 20,000,000 people. Then, after making everyone's hair stand up, he turned and walked away.
With all that is really wrong -- starting with his administration's seriously creepy doings -- this is what he called a press conference for? And then answering no questions?

Which is really beautiful, since he freely admitted that the current flu vaccine doesn't even attack H1N1.

And the worst I have heard about the H1N1 flu is 90,000; a factor that is about 1/220 the fatality rate of the 1918 rate; and that doesn't include the population growth in the last 90 years.
As flu's go; this one is not that severe. But when you have Rahm saying "Never let a crisis go to waste ...."; this scares the hell out of me.

The 2008 flu vaccine didn’t even hit the viruses that attacked last year. The pharma companies guessed wrong.

Just another scare tactic, trying to get his health care/slave bill passed.
The main reason people die from the flu is because they have a secondary infection (or more) and the body can’t fight both. Most flu deaths are caused by a flu/pneumonia combination. Normal healthy people do not need this vaccine.
This is the beginning of a manufactured crisis that he needs. First invoke fear and doom. When it turns out to be not as bad as he says, he’ll make it look like his administration saved the day.

He can't risk being asked questions about the communists and socialists with whom he's surrounded himself. It's really a no-brainer WHY he refuses to take questions he WON"T answer. He's pretty good at giving non-answers and moving on to the next question when he's in the hot seat.
He went on to add, “If enough old people die in the upcoming epidemic, we might be able to suspend the Death Panel clause for a few years...”

I’m old enough to remember the Great Swine Flu Epidemic of 1976 but still too young to die. I’m going to ignore the hysteria, and I certainly won’t be getting the shot.

You certainly won’t be getting the shot. We have outsourced that vaccine production. If the H1N1 actually starts killing people, I am certain that the vaccine producing countries will ban exports to use the doses for their populations.

The sick part of my mind figures that Zero would be happy if “The Swine” affects the elderly.
Then he doesn’t have to worry about forcing those folks to an “end of life conference” or, waste precious health care resources on them.

I just learned at a news conference I covered that the vaccine is only going to be available in late October or so. In addition, THE ONLY PEOPLE GETTING IT at first will be high-risk populations.
Obama is glossing over that fact. You and I won’t be able to get it until the initial round of people with serious illnesses etc. are covered.

Who is advising Obama, because this is EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of what is happening because young people don’t have the antibodies and immunity built up from previous rounds of swine flu etc. The average age for hospitalization is in the 20s.
