His “great things” consisted of confiscating more and more money from productive citizens, in order to buy the votes of the unproductive — and more power for himself. All the while, he lived a rich, pampered life of power and privilege.
His “commitment to the poor” would have been “great” only if he had donated his own millions to the poor and lived the life of an average, unprivileged person. Of course, he never did that.
And that’s not even mentioning the “greatness” of opening our borders to a flood of immigrants who will take generations to assimilate and become self-sufficient in this culture — if they ever do. Or the “greatness” of his treasonous dealings with the Soviets, in an effort to take down Reagan.

Sorry Bob, Ted Kennedy killed a girl and refused to admit that he did. That’s why your American hero was never elected President of the United States. Retire Bob, your mind has quit working........

I wonder if the young Mary Jo Kopechne would agree with the state-run media’s (in this case, the bootlicker Bob Shieffer’s) characterization of Ted Kennedy as “a classic American hero”? I doubt it.

The last time I watched SeeBS was to see how The Dan would worm his way out of a boldfaced attempt to take down a sitting President via fraud.

Actually His Royal Highness, Sir Rhosis of Liver, had quite an impressive naval record. Recall that he distinguished himself under enemy fire from hostile Republican forces, when as commander of the S.S. Oldsmobile, while in a dazed and semi-conscious state, he swam thousands of yards through dangerous shark-infested, riptide currents in search of lifesaving medical assistance for a drowning aide -- a feat of incredible courage, strength and endurance that nobody has managed before or since.

If Mary Jo Kopechne had lived, she would be 64 years old.
Through his tireless work as a legislator,
Edward Kennedy would have brought comfort to her in her old age.
