I don’t find such statements overly shocking, and I’m a fairly centrist Independent. I’ve never been sure how folks bought into Obama’s whole moderate routine during the campaign. One only had to look at his Senate voting record to know what he was all about. I think there were just a lot of Independents who wanted change and so they voted for him. I’m not going to fault them, and I’m glad they’re opening their eyes in droves the past few months.

Redistribution of All Wealth

"one of the things that have too often happened to progressives is that we..."

Reparations for Slavery

"Complete Revolution was on the table for this country and I think this green movement has to pursue those same steps and stages."

Right now we are saying we want to move from suicidal gray capitalism to some kind of eco-capitalism.

Oh yeah, real centrist.

They can call themselves whatever they want but voting for BO they are nothing but liberals. There is nothing 'independent' about their thinking that they can be so easily swayed voting for someone w/absolutely no credentials and when you really knew nothing about him.

Why not? I was working with such an 'independent' last year (notice the single quotes?) who told me he was going to vote for Zero because he had been convinced he was going to be a fiscal conservative compared to GWB. I believe such susceptibility to Democrat indoctrination and misinformation should be honestly criticized and condemned. Failing to do so may condemn us in the future.

Maybe because that WAS the whole campaign?

The "big projection screen" strategy Tom Daschle told us about before the election? Devoid of specifics, consisting of 100% atmospheric generalities, vaporware promises, and attacks on other people?

That, and a Judas press, of course, that betrayed the public interest to push The Magic Negro.
