A new high-tech Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. Racism. And parents too dumb to raise their children.
That was how NBC sought to explain away opposition to Pres. Obama's planned speech to schoolchildren.

Apparently NBC News is in a full throttle rush to marginalize itself, limiting its audience to the loony left, in defense of Obama’s heavy-handed, inept indoctrination ploy. Thank you Immelt & GE.

I just saw it. Hardwood failed to mention the accompanying “lesson plan” that wants to know how our children should help Obama.

The libs just don’t get it. This President and his lunatic Party have poked the hornet nest and now they’re getting stung. And every time he pokes the nest he’s going to be stung again. He should realize already: he’s got a serious uprising on his hands. The hornets are out of the nest and they’re looking to take his form of politics(communism) down.

Well,,,, they did disinfect the “lesson plan!” But,,, I wonder how many teachers will follow the first plan anyway? I’m going to be curious about follow up reports of their behavior in their classrooms.
To: tobyhill
A short message telling kids to stay in school and work hard wouldn’t be an issue even from Obama. The problem comes with the lesson plan surrounding it and especially the writing a letter to themselves.
That whole writing a letter to yourself is a tried and true mind control method. Its fine for adults to use it on themselves when they know what they want and what they’re doing. Using it on children is insidious.

Because the parrots are squaking what their masters are telling them and we know who owns the media, and who is watching. We need to know our enemies, and to get unified. I like the high-tech, not smart enough, oxymoron though. The good sign is conservatives are communicating on their own, and until the libs control the internet, we will continue.

***During the Speech
As the president speaks, teachers can ask students to write down key ideas or phrases that are important or personally meaningful. Students could use a noteâtaking graphic organizer such as a Âcluster web; or, students could record their thoughts on sticky notes. Younger children could draw pictures and write as appropriate. As students listen to the speech, they could think about the following: What is the president trying to tell me? What is the president asking me to do? What new ideas and actions is the president challenging me to think about?  Students could record important parts of the speech where the president is asking them to do something. Students might think about the following: What specific job is he asking me to do? Is he asking anything of anyone else? Teachers? Principals? Parents? The American people?***
They changed a couple things but it still looks like propaganda to me

This is why I thought it was pointless to pull kids out of the class, or for schools to drop the speech plan the first day because if they're determined enough to go through with this, they'll just pull it out of their butts later.
So, I've instructed my kids to be my little "spies"--and they're loving the assignment.

John Harwood is CNBC Chief Washington Correspondent.
I expect that he was talking to the parents in the inner cities.
And the reason you should care is because he is one of the elites that has been putting his bias out for decades under the guise of “reporting.”
He lives in Silver Springs, MD, too dangerous to live in Washington, DC, and he MUGHT have had to explain why HE didn't send his children to the Washington DC public school system. But we know why, don't we.

When my 10 year old kid’s teacher got word that the district won’t show Obama he said she started yelling about everything the kids were doing then worked herself into a frenzy that she ended up getting sick and had to be rushed to the hospital. She’s ok now.
My kid said he was turning in a paper and saw she was on the website page for the school district’s announcement right before she flipped out.
Just to make sure my kid had his facts mostly correct, I e-mailed the teacher and asked if she was ok and she responded that she had to go to the hospital because of a “previous injury”.

Alright let's access. Is there any question Obama's anti-american and the radical leftist he's aligned himself with want to "change" America into a socialistic country? There is absolutely no doubt these people want to destroy capitalism. Conservative's all knew this going in, only the lite hearted ignorant had no clue, but what is really disturbing is Obama/Leftist are not hiding their agenda at all from anybody except to try and make those who are calling them on their anti-americanism, kooks.
Now the radical left will stick with Obama no matter what, but isn't it clear to these dolts by now America is starting to see these leftist for who they really are and don't like them or like their policies? I mean Obama's going no where but down in the polls yet he's pushing his leftist agenda even further!
Is the leftist operation to try ram through as much destruction to America as possible knowing they will get trounced next election? Let's face it, at this point if the American voting public doesn't completely remove these people next election we are truly done as America.

yes. As that Marine at the town hall said: “Keep your hands off my kids.”
Here we are with the whole world in a “world of hurt” with wars, crime, poverty, hate etc...and the prez is gonna talk to school kids about staying in school? Give me a break. That’s an agenda that went awry and FAST. If he is allowed to broadcast a speech into the schools against other’s wishes...then someone should counter with broadcasting a PRAYER to every school under the same circumstances. You know like this school says yes, this teacher says no, this parent says yes etc....Same thing.
To: Williams
“Actually I DO think the president coming into every school in the country and telling the kids anything is a problem.”
I have a tremendous problem with THIS president, therefore none of them should be doing it.
Funny how the education establishment promotes Michael Moore propaganda, Al Gore propaganda and Barrack Obama propaganda, but would have a fit if a Conservative wanted to address the chilrun. Or the NRA. Or the Armed Forces. etc.
