Dean: Jones' Resignation a 'Loss for the Country' (Lib Loon Alert)
Foxnews ^ | 9/6/2009 | Staff

Posted on 09/06/2009 4:43:29 PM PDT by Red in Blue PA

Former Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean said Sunday that the resignation of White House green jobs adviser Van Jones is a "loss for the country."

The outspoken Democrat and former presidential candidate vigorously defended Jones, who resigned in the wake of criticism over his past statements and associations -- including his past support for a group that believes the Bush administration may have been involved in the Sept. 11 attacks.

"I think he was brought down," Dean told "FOX News Sunday," saying he just spoke to Jones. "I think it's a loss for the country."

Dean pointed to Jones' credentials as a Yale Law School graduate and best-selling author.

Dean pointed to Jones' credentials as a Yale Law School graduate and best-selling author.

Those are credentials to be the Green Jobs Czar? How about a degree in science? Or economic development? Or any kind of actual experience creating actual private sector jobs?

Oh, my, what a loss for this country...NOT...

Van Jones is a racist and bitter man, to watch him speak is to watch total hatred for America and intellectual discussion...good riddance, Van...

I also seriously doubt he will be gone out of Obama’s sphere of influence - look at Daschle - he never got the job in the Cabinet due to the personal tax issues, but he’s still a ‘senior adviser’ - Van will never go away...

*Howard Dean pointed to Jones’ credentials as a Yale Law School graduate and best-selling author*

The Dean was asked about the Truther petition Van Jones signed.
Dean said, we all sign petitions we don’t read.

Waaaaat, this Yale educated best selling author doesn’t read what he signs.

Howard Brush Dean III, child of privilege, limousine liberal, and political gadfly, always has a word of defense for anyone who has spoken dismissively of Republicans.

Which is odd, as he is one of the “rich”, and therefore of what is known to be a despised class by all true Democrats.

Frpm LA Times:

He said that he had spoken with Jones, and that Jones should not be held responsible for signing the Sept. 11 petition.

“He was told by the people waving those clipboards around that he was signing something else,” Dean said. “I think that’s too bad.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I think I heard it was an on-line petition

Your assuming he can read.

Van graduated from Harvard's affirmative action program. Nothing about his record proves he can read, only that he benefited from being black from ive league schools with white guilt syndrome.

He is practically zero's blood brother.

What else did he sign that he had not read? I would find this rather chilling if he were my DOCTOR (Howard Dean M.D.) He could be getting a call from a malpractice lawyer ... Oh wait, they are all fellow Democrats ...

Think Howard will go swimming up there in New England? I'm sure those Great Whites will practice 'professional courtesy' for him.
