Excellent, but the next Republican Congress in 2010 should outlaw these shadow government appointments. Cabinet level positions should be sufficient. There’s way too much overlap, unaccountability and lack of sunshine on these positions. The nation does not need them as they are antithetical to our republican form of government.

Even if any of these appointments were subject to confirmation, it would be the Senate that does the examining and not the House.

WHERE are the rest of our congresscritters and why aren’t they calling for background checks too? We know so little about these czars and yet some of them, like Jones, are in control of so much of the stimulus money.

Good for Congressman Pence! He is one of the truly good guys in Congress and I salute him! Now, we need a few dozen more to join him - along with some GOP Senators.
