A lot of it has to due with his secrecy and failing to give out his birth certificate... imo

Well, now, that's only poised to get worse for him when the BC and other documents are revealed--a fact about which he's been aware for many years.

This was what I wondered about O during the election with the Wright mess. Does he think he doesn't need the support of white people? Does he think he can just wish white people away?

This is the big disappointment of the biracial promise. Even I had a few hopes when we lost the election, that maybe blacks would take O's rise as something conciliatory that would help them move on and maybe learn to enjoy all that America has to offer and all that Africa does not.

But we're starting to realize that O's election is just to bring racial resentment to center stage, complete with styrofoam Greek columns. White liberal guilt is wearing thin. It's like a marriage when one party has tried to appease, and the other party has fallen in love with his own resentment. Further efforts appear futile.

The only thing this wispy man can produce is resentment. He can't lead after he won the election. He could have won a lot of regard and respect from me if he had just said, "Hey, he's my friend, I popped off and I wish I hadn't. I'm sorry. You should respect your local police officers."

I think, at that point, with all the cringe-inducing beer moments, that something jumped the shark for Obama and white people.

Americans wanted Left of Center Adminstration. Instead we got a Socialist one that’s bordering on Marxism.

From the article: “These controversies have followed conspiracy theories that the president was born overseas and is ineligible to hold office, and that his true religion is Islam — false rumors that some Democrats worry could be affecting the public’s view of the president and his party.”

Let me be clear, as I’ve said all along although the bulk of evidence points to a HI birth, it’s good to keep this story going as an urban legend for its corrosive effects.

the White Guilt is starting to fade when the smoke that surrounded Obama has cleared. He was never who people projected him to be. People still have to purchase gas, pay mortgages and work.
People projected their “hopes” on Obama and one was “maybe the race baiting will finally stop”.. Well, anyone that wasn’t drunk on Hopenchange knew that it was never end.

“I beg to differ. Cap N Tax is reversable with simple legislation. Giving free health insurance to people and socializing the medical system will be for all intents and purposes impossible.”

I’m not sure it’ll be that simple. You’re creating huge new bureaucracies in both cases with special interest groups who will be fighting any changes. And Cap and Tax is all about income redistribution so there will be a lot of groups receiving bennies that they will be loath to surrender.

The short form COLB says that it is prima facie evidence of the facts contained. That means that anyone opposing it has the burden of proof. Gov. Lingle and (I’m unsure of the exact title) Director of the HI dept. of Health have vouched for its authenticity. Of course they could be lying, but then the story relies upon multiple liars - which is normally where most conspiracy theories breakdown.

I’ve yet to see any documentary ev. that stanley ann was in Kenya at the time of his birth.

The crypto-muslim story on the other hand, could be true due to his childhood in Indonesia and his trip to Paki where he left as Barry Sotereo and came back Barack Hussein 0bama II.

This healthcare thing and the czars thing are starting to have an impact on the libs in my family. They hate to admit it because I was pretty verbal during the election, but they are starting to express distrust and dismay.

Apparently, Obama has proven to be too radical for even some of his most ardent supporters.

I just saw some poll info which indicates that Obama's support among blacks has slipped from 95%, to around 75%. That is a complete surprise to me.

Somewhere around 8% of blacks (including yours truly) are strongly conservative. Very few of them voted for Obama, so if Obama's support is now only 75% among blacks, that clearly indicates that he's losing support among his committed base. By my calculation, a whopping 17% of black Democrats have left him since the election.

That's dramatic.

One of my life long friends from the 60's is a black guy who was a demonRAT and while he was earning big bucks he remained a demonRAT {mostly from habit}.

When his dad died in late 90's and he saw how much money the government took from the estate he switched parties and has been a pubbie ever since.

There's nothing like taking a major hit from Uncle Sugar to open one's eyes.

It happened to me after I married, bought a home, started a small business, and had four kids. After a couple of years, I got so disgusted with the government's intrusion into my affairs, and the heavy taxation (for the crime of creating economic activity and jobs), that I decided to finally check out what the "other side" had to offer.

Within a few months of reading and learning, I was irretrievably in the conservative Republican camp. Along the way, I've met a few black folks who've had the same epiphany. Some are quieter about their beliefs than I am, and I can understand that.

For myself, I just know too much now, and cannot compromise with my reality one iota. I don't care who it offends.

They've been getting a steady diet of it since kindergarten. It's going to take a long time to undo this brainwashing.

Oddly enough, it doesn't take that long to undo the leftist brainwashing, once a person starts getting better data to think with.

What takes the longest, is for a person to come to the realization that the Democrat party and the left have not been telling them the truth.

From there, it takes some degree of courage to work up the nerve to actually examine what the "other side" has to offer.

This is the painfully slow process that most of us escapees have gone through, but it can be done. A few more escape the liberal mind control plantation every day.

Colin Powell was long a favorite of the affirmative action wing on FR, along with Condi Rice and JC Watts.

You know the saying, you can't pick your relatives. Hopefully the gene pool from that part of the family missed you.

No pun intended, but I've been the "black sheep" of the family for as long as I can remember. I've always been the rebel of the clan, and have always been the pioneer of the family.

It's just ironic to me that all of the true rebels in America are now on the right. The left has now become the establishment, and can no longer lay claim to the title, though they try.

Obama won blue collar white districts in the northeast largely due to very high support among females.

I love your tagline!

Thanks. I've found it to be axiomatic of the left and the right.

Would you look at that picture! This country voted him in! All I can say is if we wanted him after knowing all about the baggage that he had, then this country is going to pay the consequences for it’s terrible choice of a leader. What do you expect from a man who believes like oprah, that there are many ways to God. The truth is Yeshua is the only way.
