This is a video of an old man (the likes of which actually built this country) at a town hall meeting in New Hampshire. From what I understand, the old guy asked if the people in front of him were even from NH- he implied the congresswoman packed the small venue with supporters/friends. He is then dragged away by guys in black- what uniforms are the officers wearing?

Yes, the congresswoman keeps telling everyone to sit. The old guy was no threat. It reminds me of the Island of Dr. Moreau once the electric fence is turned off.
I hope no one is counting on the local police to be on our side in the upcoming conflicts.
So, does anyone know what happened to the guy? Was he simply ejected? Was he taken to jail? I’m surprised he hasn’t appeared on TV somewhere.
That said, the Member of Congress is insufferable. What a condescending epitome of the Government Nanny. Standing in a broom-closet sized room to address constituents, as close to the door as she could get without actually standing out in the hall, smiling at her poor victims while she tells them to sit down and shut up. Whoever voted for this woman ought to be having severe and painful voters' remorse.

Town hall meetings began in New England among the Puritans.
Sounds like the democrats are acting more puritanical than the very originators.
I heard of a few that claimed they would turn in their badge but suspect others would relish the thought.

I figure if it comes to that, the police will be about 50/50 - the ratio I see of good cops to jack booted thugs.
Fortunately, the military is more likely to be at least 90% with us. The JBTs won’t last long.
Add to that an additional 90% of the veterans and I think events may turn rather quickly - certainly much quicker than our "elected representatives" might believe.
I noticed that a SEIU purple shirt was stationed in the front row as a cheerleader.

Not only am I not counting on the local police, I don’t even think there are enough Americans left to have a conflict over government imposed slavery. We have allowed the socialists to raise two generations of our children in government schools, indoctrinating them in “government knows best, government will take care of you.” Most people under 45 don’t even see a problem.
I would love to be wrong about that.
By definition, all fascists are left wing. It is not too much of an oversimplification to say that fascists are but right wing communists. They are both socialists who believe in totalitarian government. Stalin pulled off a brilliant tactic in the 1930’s after his troubles with Communism’s Trotskyite wing and the battles that the Reds were having with their National Socialist cousins in Germany. He simply declared that anyone on the right OR left who was opposed to the Moscow line was a fascist. The useful idiots and liberal fellow travelers of the time picked this propaganda line up and ran with it. It is amazing as to how long the intellectual half life of this lie has been.
At every opportunity we MUST take the time to correct this falsehood by showing our fellows as to how big govt makes totalitarianism MORE likely, since the small constitutional government advocated by conservatives is incompatible with a fascist state.

DH saw a video of a Rep. telling the crowd “this is MY meeting” in a typical lib condescending, nasty way.
Well, actually, honey... no; it ISN’T YOUR MEETING. It’s OUR meeting. How dare they forget that they work for US? I honestly think new policy should be written where (1) all reps must hold a required number of meetings each year, properly advertised, in venues large enough to accommodate all those who want to attend, and (2) the PEOPLE set up the meetings, and THEY inform the rep where and when to show up. No more of this elitist “I’m too good for you” crap.
I think it’s starting to dawn on people that the thugs are paid for by ACORN etc. Even Chris Matthews is starting to wonder where the people are who are FOR health care reform. Guess he’s starting to figure out that his side is paid for by the uber rich and the people are conservatives...

no kidding. if was such a great idea, why aren’t there more people agitating and demanding the right to tell others how nuch they can earn while they receive free health care paid for by the rest of us.
There were a lot of foreign plates on cars parked in the rather out of the tourista area of Portsmouth where the meeting was held, lLot of manufactured signs also.

If I may add an item that must always be in our control.
We should try to pass, in every State, a six-week recall notice to our reps. It should be on the ballot ASAP. It may require a petition to be signed by 10% of the voters to require special election. The recalled rep. is out and will be replaced immediately by the winner.
No Governors’ interference whatsoever would be allowed. The recalled rep. should be sued for the salary paid because he/she didn’t deliver. We can also put propositions, as in California, to prevent the politicians from raising taxes, approving bonds, gay marriage BS, etc.
Most of the voters, liberals included, would go for controlling their condescending reps. almost on the spot!
We had better start before the ballot boxes would be adorned by the ACORN insignia in a president-for-life dictatorship!
Looks like rent-a-cops and we can’t hear what the guy is saying. But the congresswoman sure loves the role of fascist dictator over her constituents.
The fact that you don't see that story means it does not exist. Period.
Poor people don't have to pay for health insurance - and it saves them a fortune.
If they get sick they go to the emergency room and for a measly $600 visit, they get treated. At taxpayers expense. And I'm OK with that - those of us who pay for private health insurance subsidize the poor. And the hospitals get massive tax write offs... no one is doing without medical care. And if a surgery is needed - and the bill comes in at $100,000 the poor person pays a lawyer a few hundred dollars and declares bankruptcy. And it's over.
The reason the poor aren't showing up at these meetings is their care IS ALREADY FREE.
Health care needs reform - but it does NOT need a total and complete overhaul. It needs a turn up.
First - people who lost their jobs should be able to keep their insurance for up to 5 years. It can be subsidized along with unemployment benefits - these are rough times.
Then the poor need to have real clinics that charge less than $600 of taxpayer money for the sniffles to be treated. That's relatively easy...
Last the incentives that produce bad medical care and high prices need to be switched...
That’s much better. They were real cops and now we can see that all he did was ask a question. The crowd should have blocked the exit and prevented his removal.

What is a "Three Percenter"? During the American Revolution, the active forces in the field against the King's tyranny never amounted to more than 3% of the colonists. Three Percenters today do not claim that we represent 3% of the American people, although we might. That theory has not yet been tested.
