This is a video of an old man (the likes of which actually built this country) at a town hall meeting in New Hampshire. From what I understand, the old guy asked if the people in front of him were even from NH- he implied the congresswoman packed the small venue with supporters/friends. He is then dragged away by guys in black- what uniforms are the officers wearing?

It is strongly suspected that Che-Porter packed her meetings with Massholes and other low life's. I couldn't get into the Meeting in Portsmouth so I took a walk around>

There were a lot of foreign plates on cars parked in the rather out of the tourista area of Portsmouth where the meeting was held, lLot of manufactured signs also.

Spot on Ma’am!

If I may add an item that must always be in our control.

We should try to pass, in every State, a six-week recall notice to our reps. It should be on the ballot ASAP. It may require a petition to be signed by 10% of the voters to require special election. The recalled rep. is out and will be replaced immediately by the winner.

No Governors’ interference whatsoever would be allowed. The recalled rep. should be sued for the salary paid because he/she didn’t deliver. We can also put propositions, as in California, to prevent the politicians from raising taxes, approving bonds, gay marriage BS, etc.

Most of the voters, liberals included, would go for controlling their condescending reps. almost on the spot!

We had better start before the ballot boxes would be adorned by the ACORN insignia in a president-for-life dictatorship!

Looks like rent-a-cops and we can’t hear what the guy is saying. But the congresswoman sure loves the role of fascist dictator over her constituents.

If the press could fine ONE PERSON denied health care - that person would be on the front page of every liberal newspaper in the country tomorrow. And yeah, they would hold the presses for that story.

The fact that you don't see that story means it does not exist. Period.

Poor people don't have to pay for health insurance - and it saves them a fortune.

If they get sick they go to the emergency room and for a measly $600 visit, they get treated. At taxpayers expense. And I'm OK with that - those of us who pay for private health insurance subsidize the poor. And the hospitals get massive tax write offs... no one is doing without medical care. And if a surgery is needed - and the bill comes in at $100,000 the poor person pays a lawyer a few hundred dollars and declares bankruptcy. And it's over.

The reason the poor aren't showing up at these meetings is their care IS ALREADY FREE.

Health care needs reform - but it does NOT need a total and complete overhaul. It needs a turn up.

First - people who lost their jobs should be able to keep their insurance for up to 5 years. It can be subsidized along with unemployment benefits - these are rough times.

Then the poor need to have real clinics that charge less than $600 of taxpayer money for the sniffles to be treated. That's relatively easy...

Last the incentives that produce bad medical care and high prices need to be switched...

That’s much better. They were real cops and now we can see that all he did was ask a question. The crowd should have blocked the exit and prevented his removal.

Are YOU willing to be counted amongst the Three Percent? (http://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com/)

The Doctrine of the Three Percent.

We will not disarm.

You cannot convince us.

You cannot intimidate us.

You can try to kill us, if you think you can.

But remember, we’ll shoot back.

And we are not going away.

Your move.

More:

From MamaLiberty over at War on Guns:
"Here's an idea...If nobody wants a 'civil disturbance,' why in heck don't they quit disturbing us?"

Indeed.

What is a "Three Percenter"? During the American Revolution, the active forces in the field against the King's tyranny never amounted to more than 3% of the colonists. They were in turn actively supported by perhaps 10% of the population. In addition to these revolutionaries were perhaps another 20% who favored their cause but did little or nothing to support it. Another one-third of the population sided with the King (by the end of the war there were actually more Americans fighting FOR the King than there were in the field against him) and the final third took no side, blew with the wind and took what came.

Three Percenters today do not claim that we represent 3% of the American people, although we might. That theory has not yet been tested. We DO claim that we represent at least 3% of American gun owners, which is still a healthy number somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 million people. History, for good or ill, is made by determined minorities. We are one such minority. So too are the current enemies of the Founders' Republic. What remains, then, is the test of will and skill to determine who shall shape the future of our nation.

The Three Percent today are gun owners who will not disarm, will not compromise and will no longer back up at the passage of the next gun control act. Three Percenters say quite explicitly that we will not obey any futher circumscription of our traditional liberties and will defend ourselves if attacked. We intend to maintain our God-given natural rights to liberty and property, and that means most especially the right to keep and bear arms. Thus, we are committed to the restoration of the Founders' Republic, and are willing to fight, die and, if forced by any would-be oppressor, to kill in the defense of ourselves and the Constitution that we all took an oath to uphold against enemies foreign and domestic.

We are the people that the collectivists who now control the government should leave alone if they wish to continue unfettered oxygen consumption. We are the Three Percent. Attempt to further oppress us at your peril. To put it bluntly, leave us the hell alone. Or, if you feel froggy, go ahead AND WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.

The Nyberg Battle Flag of the Three Percent:

This time we are ALL Davidians. This time, we are all Jews, Kulaks, "counter-revolutionists" and "enemies of the state." We are now a despised minority within a country no longer our own.BUT WE WILL NOT BE DESPISED.

This Carol Shea Porter is disingenous when she says that all the congresscritters held their town halls at similar sized venues. The questioner was correct to insinuate that the venue chosen was purposely small to limit the anti-ObamaCare sentiment to be seen in public.

I don't know how a lefty like her can be elected in a state whose motto is "Live Free or Die." She should be a big target for the GOP next year.

Excellent!

So we all have good ideas — how do we get people to pay attention? How do the ideas get implemented? Present them to our conservative reps and then have them draft policy? I mean, I am so SICK of THEM telling US what’s what. It’s not up to them.

"Fortunately, the military is more likely to be at least 90% with us."

"Add to that an additional 90% of the veterans and I think events may turn rather quickly - certainly much quicker than our "elected representatives" might believe"

Finally, added to all that....
The straw that will break their commie-loving backs!

Just imagine what the numbers are now.

Maybe 1 per cent nationwide would refuse but most, when threatened with the loss of their pension will toe the compay line. To wit: go drag your and my ass to jail.

Just the beginning, Jeff. Things will get much worse very soon. How far will they go? Until they are stopped by force. I don’t see that happening.

Present them to our conservative reps and then have them draft policy?

I don't know if asking our reps to draft a policy limiting their power, arrogance and reelection will be workable.

I hate to say that the only way is more awakening to the impending disaster. If it happens, in one form or another, enough anger will cause the bums to be thrown out. A new tradition for pre-election "indoctrination" town halls in every little district, to lay out a platform for the new critter if he/she wants to defeat the incumbent.

Any deviation in voting in the Congress, OUT in six weeks and another sent in. Salary will be paid back and no pension for that duration. Remember, the purse is OURS to control.

We may be split on certain votes or, an ape is flogging Congress to vote on a bill in two days. No way, there will be a vote unless it's a real, NOT manufactured, national emergency. The reps HAVE to come back to their districts, conduct town halls and consult with us, THEIR BOSSES!

This is what Representative Democracy is all about. After all, it's still a free country and if they like to work for us and do what we want, fine, otherwise it's a two-way street.

You can apply the same principles n the local levels on taxation, communist schooling, corruption, etc. However, it needs more people to weigh in before it's too late.

Jeff, I attended two Townhalls Congressman Roe held, one in Johnson City, TN, then a week later one in Kingsport, TN. At both meetings operatives from Southwest Virginia unions came in and sat in dispersed locations and tried to raze the Congressman during his Q&A. Most of the time, we conservatives just shouted at them to sit down and shut up. But they were there at both meetings and did not come from his congressional district. The democrat party is a party of lies, waters with the blood of millions of alive unborn. NOTHING they do should surprise us now. They are the party of deceit.

THAT WOULD BE WONDERFUL.

AND

THE PEOPLE’S REP WOULD HAVE TO STAY THERE UNTIL THE LAST CONSTITUENT HAD BEEN HEARD.

If the tyrannical Kings of Saudi Arabia can do that . . .

INDEED . . . only . . . perhaps . . .

if a certain trip point negative criteria is met—say some sort of vote of confidence is below a certain criteria . . . then the politician

MUST be recalled—i.e. there MUST be a recall vote and

TO STAY IN, he MUST receive say 75% or some such of the vote.
