When you call Communists “liberals” it legitimizes them. The time has come to stop it. To stop the charade , stick your head out the window and say “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore.”

How did things get to this pass? Let me just single out one problem, because it’s the one conservatives can actually affect. And that is to start calling things by their right names. The timidity and cowardice of Republicans towards Democratic Party outrages of this nature is a principal culprit. When you call Communists “liberals” it legitimizes them. The time has come to stop it. To stop the charade , stick your head out the window and say “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore.”

Count me in.

They are calling themselves “progressives” now, not liberals. Apparently “liberal” wasn’t Lefty enough for them. Progressives = socialists.

“Liberal” necessarily has something to do with liberty. What we call “liberalism” and “liberals” have nothing to do with freedom. It and they are all about control and authoritarianism.

If anyone can call these creeps on the carpet, it’s David Horowitc. A former communist turned conservative, he knows how they think, what their tactics are, and how to identify them and call them on their actions.
Thank you Mr. Horowitz.

Years ago when I was new to FR I witnessed a fellow freeper make a semi-joking comparison between the DNC and the NSDAP. Said freeper was resoundly spanked and told to take his vile nazi comparisons elsewhere. Time has a peculiar way to vindicate.

They are communists. Marx said that socialism is a necessary stepping stone on the path from capitalism to communism. Facsism is just another form of socialism where the market can pretend to be free.

“So we just give up is what you’re saying?”

No. Indeed, the reason Obamacare will be defeated is that Republican politicians are afraid of the public reaction Obama’s promotional campaign engendered.

Guys like Senator Grassley, they were all on board. Now they have to think it over.

Their correct name is regressives for they hate modernization and industrialization. They have strange fancy over simpler country live with organic farming of the past century. They ignore the fact 90% of people are living in desparate poverty before industrial revolution.

Sometimes even religious folks(I mean Christians) do not know that the industrialized society is a blessing to mankind. The last age prior to Christ’s return is a sophisticated age of commerce. God made it beautiful. Even though people commited harlotry with it, neverthless all what it produces will not be spoiled, but will be kept as an inheritance for God’s elect.

I was going to say no, but yes, there is one form of fascism where adherents pretend the market is free. It is the evolving American version of fascism. Older versions did not make that claim.

that sounds an awful lot like my brother. he wrote a similar rant and was zotted/booted/banned by jimrob himself (so he says).

he has never returned to this site in almost 6 years -even though he will ask what the "freepers are talking about" from time to time.

Conservatives were engaging in organic farming, eating natural foods, and using alternative medicine before the left co-opted them. I have gotten to know several organic farmers over the past few years. Perhaps they are not representative, but all of them are deeply conservative, devoutly Christian homeschooling families. They are deliberately living outside the mainstream of modern society.

I do not disagree with your point about the blessings of industrialized society. But I would prefer to eat a homegrown or organically-grown heirloom tomato over an industrial-farmed beefsteak “tomato” any day.

Regressives? Close. I’ve been calling them “Counter-revolutionaries” for the last while, based on their complete opposition and undermining of the American Revolution.

They are regressives, or primitive culture fan club.
Never call them progressive or liberal again. Conservatives are true liberals.

Spengler of Asia Time written a lot about primitive cultures and how all of them will die. I appreciate his insight that primitive culture gets to live by enbracing Christianity and Terrorism is the death throe of traditional society. Rene Gerard also written a very insightful article in firstthings.com, http://www.firstthings.com/article/2009/07/apocalypse-now

Primitive culture seeks its survival or find its equilibrium by seeking out a sacrificial victim. For Muslims, it is the Jews. For the regressives, it is the Christians. Communism is infact Pagan, the class struggle is just another search for new victims to sacrifice.

In Christianity, there is no longer needs to seek for new sacrifices, for Christ has been made the Sacrifice once and for all, for the rest of us.

If you go to Wikipedia and look for Nazi 25 point platform, and ignore the first eight points, you will find this. There are still a few German / Nazi specific points in there, but it still has startling parallels to the modern Democrat Party. Amazing when you see it in print, isn't it?

9. All citizens must possess equal rights and duties.

10. The first duty of every citizen must be to work mentally or physically. No individual shall do any work that offends against the interest of the community to the benefit of all.

Therefore we demand:

11. That all unearned income, and all income that does not arise from work, be abolished.

12. Since every war imposes on the people fearful sacrifices in blood and treasure, all personal profit arising from the war must be regarded as treason to the people. We therefore demand the total confiscation of all war profits.

13. We demand the nationalization of all trusts.

14. We demand profit-sharing in large industries.

15. We demand a generous increase in old-age pensions.

16. We demand the creation and maintenance of a sound middle-class, the immediate communalization of large stores which will be rented cheaply to small tradespeople, and the strongest consideration must be given to ensure that small traders shall deliver the supplies needed by the State, the provinces and municipalities.

17. We demand an agrarian reform in accordance with our national requirements, and the enactment of a law to expropriate the owners without compensation of any land needed for the common purpose. The abolition of ground rents, and the prohibition of all speculation in land.

18. We demand that ruthless war be waged against those who work to the injury of the common welfare. Traitors, usurers, profiteers, etc., are to be punished with death, regardless of creed or race.

19. We demand that Roman law, which serves a materialist ordering of the world, be replaced by German common law.

20. In order to make it possible for every capable and industrious German to obtain higher education, and thus the opportunity to reach into positions of leadership, the State must assume the responsibility of organizing thoroughly the entire cultural system of the people. The curricula of all educational establishments shall be adapted to practical life. The conception of the State Idea (science of citizenship) must be taught in the schools from the very beginning. We demand that specially talented children of poor parents, whatever their station or occupation, be educated at the expense of the State.

21. The State has the duty to help raise the standard of national health by providing maternity welfare centers, by prohibiting juvenile labor, by increasing physical fitness through the introduction of compulsory games and gymnastics, and by the greatest possible encouragement of associations concerned with the physical education of the young.

22. We demand the abolition of the regular army and the creation of a national (folk) army.

23. We demand that there be a legal campaign against those who propagate deliberate political lies and disseminate them through the press. In order to make possible the creation of a German press, we demand:

(a) All editors and their assistants on newspapers published in the German language shall be German citizens.

(b) Non-German newspapers shall only be published with the express permission of the State. They must not be published in the German language.

(c) All financial interests in or in any way affecting German newspapers shall be forbidden to non-Germans by law, and we demand that the punishment for transgressing this law be the immediate suppression of the newspaper and the expulsion of the non-Germans from the Reich.

Newspapers transgressing against the common welfare shall be suppressed. We demand legal action against those tendencies in art and literature that have a disruptive influence upon the life of our folk, and that any organizations that offend against the foregoing demands shall be dissolved.

24. We demand freedom for all religious faiths in the state, insofar as they do not endanger its existence or offend the moral and ethical sense of the Germanic race.

The party as such represents the point of view of a positive Christianity without binding itself to any one particular confession. It fights against the Jewish materialist spirit within and without, and is convinced that a lasting recovery of our folk can only come about from within on the pinciple:

COMMON GOOD BEFORE INDIVIDUAL GOOD

25. In order to carry out this program we demand: the creation of a strong central authority in the State, the unconditional authority by the political central parliament of the whole State and all its organizations.

The formation of professional committees and of committees representing the several estates of the realm, to ensure that the laws promulgated by the central authority shall be carried out by the federal states.

The leaders of the party undertake to promote the execution of the foregoing points at all costs, if necessary at the sacrifice of their own lives.

I am not critisize people keeping a private garden. I have a small vegetable garden myself. But family owned little gardens are for leisure only, not for supporting 300 millions lives.

To go with back yard gardening, Americans have to go on a diet, or 50% of us will die of hunger. I find conservative christian people living outside the mainstream of modern society is admirable. I believe they are doing what they are called to, for the Bible did say, when the economy collapse comes, blessed are those who sow seeds along all rivers and let their live stock out grazing.

But not everyone is called to that. I wish I can find you the scripture referring how Tyre’s profit will be given to the elect as an inheritance. It is in one of the minor prophets’ book about tyre, perhaps in Zakaria.

Regards,

Replace the harsh language with focus-group-tested euphemisms, and replace the nationalistic stuff with “diversity,” and you have Obamaism.
