Van Jones: On the 9/11 Attacks, Not Just a ‘Truther,’ a ‘Deserver’ (AmeriKKKa "deserved" attack!)
NewsBusters ^ | September 7, 2009 (23:49 PM ET) | Tom Blumer

Posted on 09/08/2009 1:37:23 AM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

The "resignation" shortly after midnight on Sunday morning of President Obama's "green jobs czar" Van Jones has generally been seen as a convenient holiday weekend move.

By Friday, after White House Secretary Robert Gibbs would only say that he still was a part of the administration, it was obvious that Jones's resignation was only a matter of time. The 9/11 truther and other evidence accumulated by Glenn Beck, Gateway Pundit, and others was simply overwhelming.

But it seems to me that it would have been more convenient had the White House waited until early Sunday afternoon to announce Jones's resignation. Given the establishment media's near blackout of his past statements and actions, it's likely that the Sunday morning network talk shows would have avoided Jones completely, or would have given the topic very short shrift. A Sunday afternoon resignation would have been much more invisible -- except for something that came out on Saturday evening.

I believe that Jones's resignation may have been moved up by 12 hours or so. That's because on Saturday evening, Scott Johnson at Powerline presented proof that roughly 40 hours after the 9/11 terrorist attacks occurred, avowed Communist Jones publicly declared that the U.S. deserved what happened. I'm not kidding.

Jones's statements are the functional equivalents of Jeremiah Wright's outrageous "America's chickens coming home to roost" rant at Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ. They need to be more widely known.

Here they are, as reported by a far left web site early in the morning on Wednesday, September 13, 2001, covering an event in Oakland held on the evening of September 12:

(Screen shot at link)

Let's repeat: "The bombs the government drops in Iraq are the bombs that blew up in New York City."

Keep in mind that Jones had to be referring to either the first Gulf War or no-fly-zone incidents, as the war to remove Saddam Hussein did not begin until 2003.

Charleston Daily Mail blogger Don Surber had this reaction to Powerline's post a short time later: "(This is) the smoking gun that will either bring down Van Jones or Barack Obama. It is President Obama’s choice." That choice was obvious.

From a White House media strategy standpoint, Jones's dead-of-night resignation unfortunately ensured that he would be a topic of conversation Sunday morning, but it minimized the chance of Powerline's bombshell becoming part of the discussion. Sure, David Axelrod had to go through the discomfort of laughably claiming that "this was Van Jones' own decision. That's a mere occupational annoyance. Given the chattering class's reluctance all along to tell viewers the full truth about Jones, his resignation gave them an opening to change the topic from "What did he say and do?" to "Whose fault is it?" (meanie bloggers, talkers, and Republicans, not necessarily in that order) and "How will this hurt the administration?" (of course, in their view and with their weeks of help, not much). No additional information about Jones himself was necessary to fuel that discussion.

The White House did the best it could with a bad situation suddenly made much worse by Powerline, and the media met the White House's see-no-new-evil wishes/expectations. Mission accomplished: Few people know that Jones believed, and still presumably does (in the context of everything else, why shouldn't we?), that America deserved the 9/11 attacks. You can make book that the Associated Press, the New York Times, and the rest of the establishment press will ignore what you've seen here.

One thing we don't know is how aware of Jones's "deserver" views Obama close left-hand adviser Valerie Jarrett was when she made this statement in mid-August:

So, Van Jones. We were so delighted to be able to recruit him into the White House. We were watching him, uh, really, he’s not that old, for as long as he’s been active out in Oakland. And all the creative ideas he has. And so now, we have captured that. And we have all that energy in the White House.

If we're to believe Jarrett's boast, the answer is "very."

Note: I did not include a 9/11 picture of the Pentagon only because of space limitations, and I intend no slight to the memory of that attack or those who lost loved ones it.

I suggest that we e-mail this to everyone we know (especially our liberal friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers and co-religionists). They must know who (and what) they voted for! If it doesn't faze them, now you know they're communists as well!!

Quite agreed. When contacting friends and family, start with those we know most in the political center or apolitical or independents, who went for *O* in 2008, but now have regrets, either openly or reluctantly/sheepishly expressed. These people can be peeled away in DROVES! (They already have been coming over the fence in force since June)....

He knew that if the congressional investigation were to go forward, he would have been toast. The White House knew that also, and it would have turned into a mess for both. It's one thing to deflect comments from bloggers and talk show hosts. It's quite another to explain yourself in front of Congress. The commie scum ran like a rat deserting a sinking ship.

VAN JONES CUT A CD...
The CD starred Van Jones and cop killer Mumia abu-Jamal.

Jones used his Ella Baker Center for Human Rights to found Freedom Fighter Music, the label WarTimes appeared on. WarTimes is also the name of an anti-war-on-al-Qaeda propaganda newspaper Jones helped organize. The album featured cop killer Mumia abu-Jamal.

Here are a few of the lines from hate-filled anti-white, anti-American, anti-Israeli recording by Van Jones and the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights:

" The American way, manufactured by these white folks in office. By these rich men here to mock us. The United States is a stolen land led by right-wing, war hungry, oil thirsty. And when it's all said and done they still can't clean their own place because they got people of color playing servant to do that sh*t for them... The true terrorists are made in the US, in this police state... The US is a crack-fiend for oil. And they're ready to rape, kill, assault, rob anybody and everybody...

Bombing babies in the night. Two wrongs don't make a right... The US needs to exit its colonies in Iraq, in the region and finally in Israel.

Van Jones: At this point. The end of the occupation. The right of return of the Palestinian people. These are critical dividing lines in human rights. We have to be here. No American would put up with an Israeli-style occupation of their hometown for 53 days let alone 54 years. US tax dollars are funding violence against people of color inside the US borders and outside the US borders."

That boy Jones is the gift that keeps on giving!

Not only is Jones a goddamned Communist, he's an al Qaeda sympathizer too!

And it was the Dear Comrade who HIRED this America-hating sonuvabitch to work for his illegal regime!

How soon will we see a 'conscience of the Senate' resolution condemning such poor judgment in the Whitey House?

I don’t think they really believe that deep down. You know a lot of them watched Beck’s exposé or they wouldn’t have been trying to bring him down in the first place. If they watched, they had to see the video/audio footage of Jones’ various remarks over the years and in recent year, even months. So, they’re just spinning it that this is about calling pubs assholes as cover for what Jones is really all about.

It’s pretty bad when the best thing you can say about a close adviser to the president is that he called pubs assholes and said Bush arranged the attack on the WTC.

Van Jones, more than anything else, will be the Left’s undoing. He is being passionately defended by everyone from the far left to the icons of the “main stream” media (e.g., David Gergen) for words that are by any objective measure completely indefensible.

His anti-semitism alone will prove fatal to Dems. Jimmy Carter did not get a majority of the Jewish vote in 1980. I’ve never understood why Jews ever vote Democratic, but in the face of this nonsense it is hard for me to imagine that Jews will stand for this.

This is likely the camel’s nose under the tent. There must be lots more where this came from, and on other White House personnel.

I would think many Americans are now (finally) wondering to themselves the following question:

Does Obama himself think we deserved the 911 attacks?

Between the sermons from Jeremiah Wright, the rantings of Van Jones and other czars and Obot truthers, how could they not make that connection?! Glenn Beck, Matt Drudge, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and a few others have done yeoman work on this, but folks like us e-mailing our lists will get the word out virally, as well. Many staunch Democrats that wouldn't believe a word from those listed above will listen to a relative, friend or co-worker.

The focus should be on the fact that these “CZARS” exist in the first place. What other President had them? None! Throw them all out!

Lyndon Johnson appointed Sargent Shriver as a 'poverty czar' in 1964 (without actually using that title), and Nixon appointed former Colorado Governor John Love (succeeded by Deputy Treasury Secretary William Simon) to be his 'energy czar' in 1973. Gerald Ford selected Frank Zarb for the same role. And the buffoon Jimmy Carter appointed former Defense Secretary James Schlesinger as his 'czar'.

And there were energy and drug 'czars' even in the Reagan Administration.

What should be disturbing is that the term 'czar' is derived from 'Caesar', i.e., the equivalent of a Roman Emperor.

And what do you call the kids of a Czar?

CZARDINES! (groan, lol)

What really bothers me about all of this is the nutjobs that Zero is putting into high govt. 9/11 ‘Truther’ nutjobs abound and there’s nothing you can do about people that choose to “think” like this. The biggest problem I have is giving official relevance to people that deserve nothing more than to be on the back page of a tabloid, if that.

Van Jones is the type of people that Zero gives a place at the table. Who cares if he “resigned”? There will be another nutcase in his job slot this time next week.

Thanks for the info on Czars from the past. I didn't know about those. BUT NONE OF THOSE FORMER PRESIDENTS HAD 31 CZARS! I will have to do some research about these guys. But, I bet they were not communist, racist bullies! I would guess that they were somehow actually accomplished in the area they were assigned to oversee.

As a matter of fact, Obama ought to call them "Overseers" instead of "Czarz". Definition of Overseer: One who keeps watch over and directs the work of others, especially laborers.

Van Jones became a revolutionary communist during the 1992 L.A./Rodney King Riots (58 dead)
various sources

"Jones was arrested during the L.A. riots and spent a short time in jail. "I met all these young radical people of color," he recalls, 'I mean really radical: communists and anarchists. And it was, like, "This is what I need to be a part of." I spent the next ten years of my life working with a lot of those people I met in jail, trying to be a revolutionary.'..."

From David Horowitz's FrontpageMag.com /DiscoverTheNetworks.org:

"Throughout its history, one of RCP's [Revolutionary Communist Party] principal objectives has been to foment civil unrest in the United States. The most notable example of such efforts occurred on April 29, 1992, when RCP members looted and trashed the downtown and government districts of Los Angeles, triggering the infamous Rodney King riots. During the days immediately preceding the violence, RCP -- which maintained close ties to the L.A. gangs known as the Crips and the Bloods -- had circulated throughout South Central Los Angeles a leaflet featuring a statement by RCP National Spokesman Carl Dix, titled 'It's Right To Rebel' -- a quote popularized by Mao Zedong.

Encouraged by Dix, RCP activists helped lead the riots that would leave 58 people dead, more than 2,300 people injured, some 5,300 buildings burned, and $1 billion in property damaged or destroyed. On the ten-year anniversary of the rioting, RCP member Joseph Veale fondly recalled the violence as 'the most beautiful, the most heroic civil action in the history of the United States.'"

Van Jones at a rally in Oakland, CA, September 13, 2001, rally’s purpose was to:

Mourn and Organize Against Racist Violence Committed by US Government

“The bombs the government drops in Iraq are the bombs that blew up in New York City,” said Van Jones, director of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, who also warned against forthcoming violence by the Bush Administration. “The US cannot bomb its way out of this one. Safety at home requires justice abroad.”

“Everyone should be as wise as these inner-city youth here today,” Van Jones concluded. “We all have more in common with the working people of the earth than we do with George Bush or Colin Powell.”

First of all, like all demogogues-in-waiting, Team Obama, and their leader, the MIghty O, think that their election, (highly suspicious on many levels in itself), constituted even more than a MANDATE for “remaking America”: in their feverish brains, it was the OPPORTUNITY to take the stage,
“FINALLY”, and get the entire thwarted Left Wing Agenda instituted. It was basically taken to be a certification for Revolution. People like Van Jones, virtually UNKNOWN even to the majority of voters who went for Obama, have been waiting in the wings, ready to be brought onboard. Thanks to the tenacity of a few people, like Glenn Beck, he’s been
exposed, and forced to resign, which he did before the rest of the truth about him could make its way into “the News”. The MSM doesn’t report stuff like this except on the most superficial level, contrived to make the resignation look like it was over something else entirely:
not unlike Gov. McGreevy’s resignation here in NJ, which was communicated directly to the people by McGreevy, with the opening words “I am a Gay American”, as if THAT’S what the “scandal” was about.

As far as the Van Jones apologists go, and they are the usual suspects, I’m tired of liars lying. These people are willing to bend any reality to fit their political agendas. The White House was trying so hard to limit the damage, that Jones resigned in the middle of the night, in the middle of a three-day holiday weekend. The Jones apologists are hucksters, just as Jones is.

More proof that zero is a racist. Look at the people he puts into his circle. Look at the people he has put into his life in the past.

It’s a disgusting pattern!

Let us cling to our God and our guns! *spits* You mock us and you mock God!

I have to remind everyone - that the Communist charge just does not faze the Democrats anymore. Republicans have been accusing Democrats of being Communists since the Truman administration. So digging up just another communist sympathizing evidence on someone is not enough.

Amazing how the DUmmies all think he resigned for his "asshole" comment.

How could they think otherwise? Initially when it was covered by cable news (including fox) that was all they offered and it was the big bad insulted republicans looking for his head. Even today as the MSM is shamed into covering it, it's portrayed as a man who has apologized twice but to no avail.

I'm waiting to see when Rev. Wright's newest statement that the racist right wing is preventing poor black folks from getting health care will get air time.
