I read something by Eugene Robinson the other day denouncing “torture” and the participation of medical professionals in interrogation.
The thought that kept popping back in my mind throughout the whole opinion piece was the knowledge that, given the power to do so, leftists would GLADLY AND JOYFULLY use torture tactics on their ideological opponents,
and when they did, the torture wouldn’t be for information’s sake, it would be torture for torture’s sake - ie, punishment.
