10,000 PATRIOTS IN NEW LENOX RALLY FOR LIMITED GOVERNMENT

(NEW LENOX, IL) -  The Tea Party Express - -  www.TeaPartyExpress.org - - was joined by a crowd estimated at over 10,000 today at the New Lenox Tea Party Rally outside Chicago.

 

The crowd size of this national cross-country tour’s rallies have grown considerably over the past few days as incredible momentum and enthusiasm builds.

 

“At Town Hall meetings earlier this year, it was said that the ‘sleeping giant’ may have awakened,” said Mark Williams, Vice Chair of the Tea Party Express.  “I think the tremendous crowds we’re seeing makes it abundantly clear that the American people are very much awake, and they are not happy.  I hope Washington is listening, because ‘We the People’ and are not sitting back while their country is sold out from under them.” 

 

The Tea Party Express is on a 16-day, nearly 7,000-mile journey across the country with a caravan of vehicles holding tea party rallies in 34 cities across America.  The Tea Party Express is advocating for less government spending, an end to the bailouts, lower taxes, opposition to government-run healthcare and opposition to the growth in the size and intrusiveness of government in general.

 

Over the next few days, the Tea Party Express will stop in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and finally arrive Washington DC on 9/12.

Remarkably happy affair. I80 exits were blocked by the police due to the terrific backup, lots of folks probably headed back home rather than negotiated the rural roads.
My brother (good at this stuff) guessed only half managed to
make it to New Lenox.

CROWDS GROW INTO THE THOUSANDS FOR TEA PARTY EXPRESS

(Columbus, IN) -  The Tea Party Express - -  www.TeaPartyExpress.org -- will hold rallies in the next 4 days in Indiana, Illinois and Michigan.

 

The size of the national cross-country tour's rallies have grown considerably over the past few days with crowd sizes soaring into the thousands.

 

"We have a tremendous amount of momentum building and this is in direct response to the continuing failures of the politicians in Washington, D.C. to listen to - let alone respect - the wishes of the American people,"  said Mark Williams, Vice Chair of the Tea Party Express.

The first step in fixing a country that’s broke (in more ways than one) is to realize it’s broke. OK, we’re there, WE NOW REALIZE IT’S BROKE! Several trillion dollars of OUR tax money have been wasted on programs that simply don’t work. Thirty five Czars have been appointed by ZERO that have no accountability to anyone except ZERO. Update On Troy Michigan Tea Party Express:

This afternoon union thugs and Health Care supporters were invited to the same area from 1:00 to 3:00PM for their own rally that the Tea Party Express was coming to tonight. A friend of mine works in the area and went over at 1:30 and he called me to tell me there were about 30 to 40 people who showed up. Just 3-1/2 hours later when the Express rolled in the crowd was estimated at between 3 and 5 thousand.
