He admonished the children to wash their hands, but he neglected to admonish them to use a condom.

A simple pep talk is fine. Getting them to follow his politics is best left for the campaign trail.

Word is that his speech was against Federal law. No federal offical can go into a school like he did without going through the State or the school board of the school firs, which he didn’t do. That is my understanding.

A simple supportive talk is fine with the likes of, don’t quit trying, have confidence, you can do it, & so forth. The problem I had to begin with, was the LESSON PLANS that followed the speech. Any Potus should be able to give our kids a boost of support, with regard to working hard & succeeding...but none of them have a right to indoctrinate our kids with lesson plans to follow their own agendas.

And quite honestly, this potus has never shown honesty or a good moral standing since he has taken office - that in itself is enough to not want my kid near him or his speech!

FReeped!

After reading the text of his speech, I have little problem with it. It actually pushed personal responsibility and accountability.

That said, I would love to read the original version.

Yeah, that's the sticky issue, isn't it? WOnder what it would have said before everyone started objecting.

Can you imagine how loud the left would scream if President Sarah Palin hosts a first day of school speech to the nations' youth? LOL

94.4% NO! He’s a con man, a snake oil salesman, trying to gain the kiddie’s confidence so as to later sell them his commie poison. Parents know better.

94.4% NO.................................

I didn’t think that my kids high school was going to show this since it was suppose to be geared towards K-6. I checked the school web site to make sure nothing was spoken of this. No paperwork came home.

My daughter came home stating that some of the classes actually sat and watched the speech. What happened to parents consent????? None of her classes actually watched it and neither had my sons, but what the heck - no parents consent on this?

In addition, it was a very disingenuous speech and a lie. He doesn’t believe one word he spouted. Just follow his actions and forget all he says.

I voted yes!

Nothing wrong about a president, even Zer0 giving THAT talk to students.

No, not the one he had intended, with little commie code words about how to support Zer0’s agenda.

But, I find nothing wrong with his final REVISED speech, forced upon his speech-writers after we all gave him serious flak.

(That is, other than his outright lies about his childhood, as word-smithed by his close friend, Bill Ayers)
