Breaking news: A politician has a speechwriter. Geoffrey Dunn writes:

So what is this attempt at rebranding Palin all about? You can lay some good money down that here's what happened: The big boys — her attorney-agent Robert Barnett and probably her publisher, too, Rupert Murdoch — had a sit-down with young Sarah and told her she had better pull her mud together. They have a lot riding on the deal. Murdoch has anted up a seven-figure advance for a book written by someone who can't construct two cohesive sentences together. Barnett has staked his considerable reputation on the line. Rest assured that Palin had the law laid down to her. And firmly.

"The WSJ piece is yet another Palin lie.

This new version of Sarah Palin is like those lip-synch groups from the '90s that didn't sing their own songs or write their own lyrics. She's the Milli Vanilli of American politics."

Wow this WSJ op-ed has these people really freaked out.

Why does the Left keep going on and on about a former VP candidate? About what she writes on Twitter? They-Are-Obsessed.

Hmmm... a puppet whose strings are pulled by Rupert Murdoch vs a puppet whose strings are pulled by George Soros. If that’s the case, and given a choice, I’ll take the former please. At least she’s pleasant to look at.

“a book written by someone who can’t construct two cohesive sentences together.”

Either redundant or ignorant: if “cohesive”, “construct” already makes the point. If “coherent”, the writer shows why a thesaurus is such a great tool.

Sheesh...

Wow this WSJ op-ed has these people really freaked out.

Well, the timing is well nigh perfect, and it's in one of the nations major dailies. Add that to the idea (ones they know all too well) that she's immensely popular in middle-America, her brilliant definition of "Death Panels" helped solidify Tea Party opposition to the congressional healthcare bills, and she's shown her disdain for their constant barrage of baseless slander, they have someone who's quickly becoming a new "Teflon" personality. Oh, the horror of it all.

We’ll see who can’t construct two sentences when her book hits number 1. Mark Levin’s book was number one for quite a long time, yet the MSM never once interviewed him. I can’t wait for Sarah’s book to come out. I’ll buy copies as gifts for a whole lot of people.

If we wish to fight, the enemy can be forced to an engagement even though he be sheltered behind a high rampart and a deep ditch. All we need do is attack some other place that he will be obliged to relieve. If we do not wish to fight, we can prevent the enemy from engaging us even though the lines of our encampment be merely traced out on the ground. All we need do is to throw something odd and unaccountable in his way.

Or Hillary? Or Bill Clinton? Or Al Gore? Or just about any politician, Hollywood elitist, or celebrity who ever wrote a book?

Geeeeez, they are grasping at straws now. Losers.

It’s what they do. They practice Alinsky rules, destroy individuals not organizations. But the leftists do it for more than one reason. The obvious one is to destroy Palin. But the hidden meaning is that it is a warning to those who might follow: cross us and we’ll destroy you. Unfortunately (maybe not), there is only one remedy for that.
