What do you think of Rep. Joe Wilson's decision to shout out 'You lie!' during the president's speech?
It was completely inappropriate. There's never an excuse for bad manners.
It revealed the frustration of House Republicans who feel powerless.
He was completely within his rights.
Hey, they yell out in the UK during parliament and in Japan I’ve seen clips of members throwing punches...this is lightweight next to other countries outrage!

If there ever was an excuse for bad manners, the time is now. The only thing he should apologize for is for saying “sorry” after the fact. I am tired of the 60 minute patriots that have infiltrated the RepubliCANT party. They are partly to blame for the mess we are in.

I think it provides some ventilation for Obama.
It would be best to let Obama have his say and then just set the Dems at each other on how to pay for it and public option. Let them slug it out.

If the shitbag in the oval office is going to keep demanding to address congress at his whim, then he should expect less than cordial responses to these addresses. This wasn’t a state of the union or any address that has a history of implied decorum. Good for Wilson1
I think it was perfectly placed, and infinitely effective. All these limp wristed dip !@#$s that say to “respect the office” might ought consider that the office is supposed to maintain it’s own level of decorum and respect, something this president has made an effort at destroying.

I think he should just say it came out instinctively, that he wasn’t looking to make a spectacle of himself or exhibit bad manners, that it was just a gut reaction to what he knew was a lie. Then he should lay out all of the lies Obama made in his speech. Take the offensive.
