A homosexual man is suing a third national Bible publisher for "mental anguish" after he says the company published Bibles with a negative connotation toward homosexuals.
Bradley LaShawn Fowler of Canton, Mich., alleges William Tyndale Publishing manipulated Scripture when it published Tyndales New Living Translation Holy Bible and the New Life Application Study Bible by using the term "homosexuals" in a New Testament passage, 1 Corinthians 6:9.
"One Bible dictates homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom of God, while the other is completely void on the issue altogether," Fowler wrote in a statement on his blog.

If Hell has a fudge factory perhaps he can work in the packing dept. :o)
I called my lawyer and we can counter sue for the exact same thing.
Willis...youve changed, man!
I’d like to see him go after the Koran...
Dude’s busted in NIV also:
“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Any jackass can file a lawsuit.
It’s up to the court to find no merit in it, and throw it out.
Okay, that made me laugh :)
in what quantity is buttboy going to sue the publisher of the Koran?
That would be a good defense, actually - to demand the court rule on all scriptures, from any tradition.
LOL - "Case dismissed."
Imagine the can of worms when murderers start suing bible publishers.
Good deal Blue. I’m a few shots of Dewars in. The political and social landscape needs a belly laugh.
Which is what will inherently happen unless he is fortunate enough to be gifted a radical, liberal, religion-hating judge.
That's why the Founders gave us Appellate Courts.
He should sue the author instead. See how that works out.
Is someone holding a gun to his head to make him read any Bible at all, much less the versions he doesn’t like? Perhaps he ought to take it up with the Author?
Algonquin J. Calhoun
what verse is that?
The one referenced: 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
Its important to know who his attorney is.....
abusers of themselves with mankind,
Strong's Number: 733
Transliterated Greek word: arsenokoítai
The Greek leaves NO DOUBT what is being spoken of. Oh, and the Greek is the "original" this idiot says they are "changing"; all the "changes of Scripture" he cites are merely differences in TRANSLATION; none substantially changes the meaning.
arsenokoites (ar-sen-ok-oy'-tace); from NT:730 and NT:2845;
KJV - abuser of (that defiles self) with mankind.

Feel free to look up the word yourself, and to check the meanings of the #730 & # 2848 from which arsenokoites is derived. The meaning couldn't be more explicit.
This is one example why we need a national “make the loser pay,” element in tort reform.
At some point he will have a face-to-face encounter with that Author and at that time, his perspective will change dramatically.
Let’s not use the term “Counter-sue his butt” in the context of this case. That’s a mental image nobody needs this early in the morning. Yuk!
