Examiner.com ^ | 9-10-2009 | Dianna Cotter

Posted on 09/10/2009 11:16:27 AM PDT by Danae

In a story on FoxNews Radio, truth broker Glen Beck is revealing how ACORN assists people in tax evasion in the process of helping them to buy houses. Beyond that; assisting in prostitution and condoning child labor in the illegal sex trade along with illegal immigration.

Beck plans on playing an undercover video made by two people who were fed up with the corruption displayed by ACORN in their institutionalized voter registration fraud, their intimidation of voters. The corrupt manner in which members of congress are protecting ACORN ought to bring clearly to light just about every member of the Congressional Black Caucus for protecting ACORN, as well as making use of their services, and topped with the 8.9 BILLION dollars they have set up to fund ACORN with.

Don’t think this form is a court of law, do you. The act of entrapment is to present a false set of circumstance and entice someone to act on them. That is what occurred here, I said it smelled of entrapment. The end results are still the same.

True!!! It should have been cut off years ago, instead the republicans used it as a vote buying trade off.

I hope Judge Napolitano is on Glenn’s show today. I would think the two have already had this conversation about what constitutes entrapment.

Something interesting the girl said on the Radio, they went in there wil an overall plan, a story they had discussed the night before. But they didn’t have any sort of script. They decided that nothing would be off the table in what they discussed there, but to just roll with it and see where it lead. If something illegal got done or said, then it did. They weren’t going to try and soclicit specific reactions. Only see what came up.

There have been a couple of lawyers looking at this, including Judge Napalitano of FoxNews.

Remember, “entrapment” is not a crime. It is a legal defense for a crime.

As a former police officer, I can tell you that the general definition of entrapment applies to governmental officers and the actions of their agents. These are private citizens acting independently.

Wrong, it is a descriptive word.

Expressing an attribute of the modified noun, as green in green grass. Used of an adjective or adjectival clause. b. Nonrestrictive. 4. I don’t know what YOU are referring to. I am speaking of the LEGAL definition of entrapment that is accepted by most states of the union. I applaud ANYONE who would expose those who would enable the sexual slave trafficing of CHILDREN. Do you?????

So in your little world, no one can us the term rape as a descriptive word, because it also has a legal meaning.

The argument that "The End Justifies The Means" has been used by tyrants throughout history. I think some even used it to justify slavery. You may want to sign on but I do not. If you know anyone engaged in trafficking children pleas call the real local police. I would!

But if you wish to arrest someone for talking about it there is a little thing called the first amendment.

So in your little world, the ACORN brown shirts should get away with their crimes because they believed that the proposed child sex ring was real when in fact it was not????

I see your that your libertarianism would allow you to let child kidnappers off the hook who hook up with police officers on the internet. Good thing your view doesn’t prevail yet.

Never met anyone that believed in “the end justifies the means”.

It is logically valid and in most societies is the rule not the exception. Google "William F. Buckley" + "moral equivalents" (or more directly, "push old ladies around") for example. Here's one result, possibly not an exact quote:

"If one man pushes an old lady into an oncoming bus and another man pushes an old lady out of the way of a bus, we should not denounce them both as men who push old ladies around."

However with a bit of work one will certainly find the exact quote and a few variations here:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=%22william+f+buckley%22+quotes+%22push+old+ladies+around%22&btnG=Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

I'm assuming you're not trolling, of course. A brief view of your recent "In Forum" posts suggests otherwise. A brief view of my "In Forum" posts will as clearly suggest that toddsterpatriot, for example, eventually tired of trying to bait me.

I don't cheer lead anyone, I do not believe Joe Blow are who ever has the right to entrap anyone. I've owned beer stores in the past and had to continually put up with do good over the top preachers that thought it was fine to have a young person lie about their age to screw you. I never will put up with that kind of stuff not now not ever.

The end does not justify the means in my book and it never will.
