No death penalty for notorious S.F. killings (Cold blooded murder, deja vu for DA Kamala Harris)

SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris will not seek the death penalty for an alleged gang member accused of murdering a father and two of his sons last year, a prosecutor said today.

The announcement in San Francisco Superior Court means that Edwin Ramos will at most serve life in prison without parole if convicted of the June 22, 2008, slayings of Tony Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, Matthew, 16.

The decision is in keeping with Harris' campaign promise never to seek the death penalty. There had been speculation, however, that with Harris running for state attorney general next year, she might shift direction in an especially notorious crime.

Assistant District Attorney Harry Dorfman put an end to that speculation in court today. "We will not seek the death penalty in this case," he said.

Harris said outside court that her office will do everything it can to make sure Ramos "dies in prison for these horrific crimes."

This should have been prosecuted as a capital hate crime and the bastard should fry.. the DA is gutless, this isn't the first time she has let a murderer go up for life.

Yes, because it's just that Ramos should live another 50 years or so, enjoying being able to breathe, eat, watch television, exercise, masturbate, ...

Justice is a wonderful thing.

If you are unwilling to apply the law (regardless of your personal feelings) you should not be in such a position of authority.

She did campaign as being anti DP, so she at least warned the voters what to expect.

As for State AG, she will go down faster then her friends in the bath houses.

I know what is going to lead the Michael Savage show today. He has already exposed this radical communist. I am shocked Obama didn’t recruit her for the team. She would fit right in with the rest of his radical communist maggots.

She didn’t warn the voters of SF. She is mainstream SF. SF is the extreme left of the nation. The SF voters embrace people like Harris. Meanwhile back in the USA, Harris is a radical communist in the mold of a Van Jones.

I’m sure Savage will give a nice profile on her today.

Good. Now we get to support these bastards for the next 50 years. If SF were not such a political and moral sewer, they would not have even been here. They were illegal aliens with criminal records. San Francisco authorities protected them from deportation.

When the average American feels he or she cannot get redress through the legal system, he or she will no longer trust in the system. When trust is lost them redress will come through vigilantism.

This type of action by degenerate California public officials always brings to mind the 1934 Brooke Hart murder.

Punishment is now a JOKE.

Criminals are treated better than victims.
