One of the "Most Commented" stories on the Houston Chronicle was the story about Joe Wilson shouting "You lie!" during Obama's speech. The story appears as a "Most Commented" story in the right hand column on the website. Upon clicking on that link, the story is "Access forbidden" and is not found. Interesting.

I’ll tell you what happened, the 0bamunist Ministry of Information sent the story down the memory hole.
In modern web applications, this is usually an error in the security system. They don’t use real directories any more, it’s all controlled by plugins.
She also announced that they wouldn't be using this rule against Rep Wilson.
Damned right they wont. They know the President was lying and they don't need any more publicity by trying to pillory Joe Wilson for telling the truth.
“there is a House rule against calling the President a liar.”
What? Show me, Nancy. I think she made that up.
Maybe there's a Speaker of the House loophole the pubbies can use to call HER a liar.
If you desire, bring it on...I'd love to see this debate on live TV: “Mr. Wilson, you have heard the charge, how do you plead? I plead guilty to the fact I called der Leader a liar but I felt that truth is its own defense.”
It only applies to Reps. Dems are allowed to call Republican Presidents a liar anytime and as many times as the choose.
THat’s what I thought when I heard that!
Can anyone verify that this exists?
Because I think SHE is a LIAR too!
Admin moderator surrendered.
*scrub scrub*
They didn’t care to hear the support for Joe Wilson’s words...
But the president can call Republicans liars. Anyone can do anything to Republicans or Conservatives, but no one can do anything bad to Liberals and Democrats. Or Communists.
The Chronicle is a POS socialist yellow rag anyway.
“violated House rules on debate and decorum that forbid personal attacks on Members, the president or vice president.”
Thanks for the research, Elizabethgrace!
Gee, we have the same rules here!
Just wondering.
I agree, Jabba. I think Pelosi and 0bama were careful not to specifically name a person- “some people” carry swastickas, and 0bama did not name names, something like “those who say thusandso are liars”.
Plus they are Dems and have different rules than us humans do.
LOL. Are they equally enforced? :)
there is a House rule against calling the President a liar.
She meant THIS president. Harry Reid had no problem calling GWB a liar. I’m sure Nancy had no problem with it either. She knows if they make too big a fuss over Joe Wilson (blessings be upon him), it will only end up with her and her cronies being blasted by their own hypocrisy.
Thanks for the research, Elizabethgrace!

For the record, Rep Wilson said, "You lie!" He did not call the POTUS a liar, just the statement that was made. He attacked the words, not the man.
A subtle distinction, but non the less pertinent.

Would the reaction from the perennially enraged libs have been any different if Wilson did not say “You Lie” but instead said “You sir, are a prevaricator”
I doubt it.
One of the best things I ever did was cancel that rag of a “newspaper”. It wasn’t fit to line my birdcage.
Well, maybe the comments were not quite as outraged as the Chronicle thought they should be? I have noticed at ALL media sites I have visited, including those of the networks, an overwhelming majority of negative comments on any story about this president or his policies.
This guy Wilson may just turn out to be the Paul Revere of our time.
See #23; Wilson attacked the words, not the man- he did not say “you are a liar”, instead, “you lie!” immediately after the lie was uttered.
