Mad as hell and ain't going to take it anymore: people from across the country descended upon Washington D.C. today for a long weekend of Dick Armey-organized activism.
Here's, Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK), who hopes the country can avoid destruction under Obama, kicking off the Liberty Summit. See the agenda for the next few days of Tea Party madness.
Tea Party folk assemble in the DC Armory to listen to the likes of Sen. Inhofe, Dick Armey, and Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC).
A 9/12 movement participant with appropriate flair.
FreedomWorks and other groups, such as the Tea Party Express, are bussing in supporters from all over the country.
House Minority Leader John Boehner spoke at the opening rally: "The American people can stop this nonsense in Washington. It's going to take the involvement of the American people to say, 'Enough is enough.'"
Armey defended heckler Rep. Joe Wilson. "Give poor old Joe Wilson a break here," he said.

WTF?! How/why does Armey take credit for this? My understanding is that this movement doesn't have a "leader" per se.

When I was at the Promise Keepers years back, there were jumbotrons and such...if they are to have any of those, one can point webcam(s) at the jumbotrons and likely wouldn’t have to move them.

What does he expect people to think when he shows up on television every five minutes? Hannity interviewed him tonight on his show...the Tea Party bus was right behind him.

Well, it seems that things are off to a good start!
We’ll be checking in from time to time tomorrow to see how it’s going - Especially when BECK is covering it on FOX from 1 to 3, I think it is.
Those of us who can’t make it can pray for the safety of those who can.
If the SEIU thugs or other moonbats show up I hope that someone keeps the video running at all times, so that any attacks, aggression or abuse can be put out over the web for public viewing even if the corrupt INjustice system down there refuses to arrest or prosecute them.
Here’s hoping for an accurate count, as we can be assured that the State controlled media will massively underestimate it as they always do.
Won’t it be grand if we far exceed the numbers that showed up at the “Million Man March”?
