Pyro, we must have been standing right next to each other because I saw about all of them. Some of them are quite easy to remember, lol.

Sweet. Democracy at its best. It’s great to see conservatives up in arms and taking to the streets (for once) and P*SSED.

Hey CNN, take that! “Timid men prefer the calm of despotism (so does Nancy Pelosi for that fact) to the boisterous sea of liberty.” Thomas Jefferson. I love that Gadsden flag - “Don’t Tread On Me.”

Oh, you don’t even know the half of it. I drove into DC and parked in front of my church. I already saw the marchers on foot as I drove in. I walked the several block over to Metro Center, encountering even more. I got on the Metro and the train was PACKED FULL of conservative protesters. I got off at the next stop, which was closest to Freedom Plaza, the starting point for the march, and they had already started marching toward the Capitol, an hour earlier than expected. I would guess that so many people showed up that the police told them to start marching. The amount of people the whole time was just STUNNING.

Teapartyexpress.com had a march start time of 1000. Freedomworks had a start time of 1130, so once it got started, it just kept on going.

Obozo had 15,000 at his Minneapolis rally today - probably bussed a lot of them in to show support for him.

Reuters' version:

A demonstrator stands on a statue holding an American flag as another holds a sign as they join thousands of demonstrators gathered on the plaza near the U.S. Capitol, to participate in a "Taxpayer March on DC", protesting President Barack Obama's fiscal and economic policies, including the administration's health care reform plans, in Washington, September 12, 2009.
