Oh, thank you! I heard a bunch of people commenting about how great the people on top of the statues looked, so I thought I’d capture it for posterity.

Brevity is the soul of whit and these are brilliant. I hope we can get a collection of all of the T/P signs together somewhere. Just awesome!

The guys on the statue.... Good Lord that’s beautiful.

Fantastic pictures!!
Obozo had 15,000 at his Minneapolis rally today - probably bussed a lot of them in to show support for him.
This march & this crowd is AWESOME!!!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I was telling my husband it’s weird seeing protesters that look like normal people instead of freaks.

Reuters' version:
A demonstrator stands on a statue holding an American flag as another holds a sign as they join thousands of demonstrators gathered on the plaza near the U.S. Capitol, to participate in a "Taxpayer March on DC", protesting President Barack Obama's fiscal and economic policies, including the administration's health care reform plans, in Washington, September 12, 2009. Thank you for the report and for the pictures. Awesome all!
GRRRR was there and has video of the crowds in the Metro.
I wanted so to be there but I am very clausterphobic and do not think I could have taken the crowds on the metro....so I especially respect those who endured that!!!!!
LOL
Congratulations, all who were there!

What a photograph!
Is that a Muslim lady atop the patriotic pyramid? That would be so cool.
She kinda has hefty arms, though. Maybe it's a guy protecting himself from the sun.
Palinitzer Prize picture!

That they down played the photo and the photo opportunity big time (at least I think so). It’s nice with the Captiol in the background, but your photo is so much better. Your photo shows the many more flag holding Ameicans on the statue and in front of the statue. Your photo evokes more emotion.

OK, quick question to any video-minded freepers - do you know of any respectable shareware/freeware (or cheapware) that will convert an MOV file to an MPG file? One of the recipients of my video clips is unable to use MOV and I don’t have any software for conversion.
Thanks in advance!!
