912: AMERICA AWAKES IN 2009

On September 12, 2009 American conservative of all persuasions showed that they had awaken .

Millions of Americans all over the country protested the out of control spending, economic-ruining, socialistic and unconstitutional tendancies of the current politicians in Washington DC, and particularly the Obama administration. Estimates ranged from 2 million by the Daily Mail in the UK, to near one million by Homeland Security, to several hundred thousand by NBC. Watching it on TV, I believe there were a million or more in Washington DC. See the pictures below and decide for yourself:

And the Official Obama administration response? You guessed it...

American citizens are intent on restoring the Constitution. .

Conservatives consistantly poll as a large majority of the polical makeup of America...conservative Republicans, conservative independents, and conservative democrats too. When Jimmy Carter ran down America during his presidency between 1976 and 1980, Americans reacted against him and he was defeated in a landslide. The Obama administration policies are worse for America than Jimmy Carter's were, moving more rapidly and with far more abandon than even Carter tried, or Bill Clinton for that matter. The results are going to be the same.

Americans want to restore the Constitutional Republic, based on the US Constitution and its foundational moral and republican principles. They are not asking for this...they are demanding it.

And they will have satisfaction.

Starting in 2010 with the largest overturn in the history of the House and Senate in a single election, and proceeding through 2012, the American people showed on 9/12/2009 that they are willing and more than capable of taking these measures into their onw hands.

Current liberal, socialistic, marxistic, and RINO politicians ignore this at their own mortal political peril...and justifiably so.

Neuter them in 2010...send them packing in 2012!

And this does not even take into account the hundreds of other protests across the country in cities and towns...large and small. Over 20,000 came out in Ft. Worth Texas alone.

My guess is that, all in all, in excess of three million Americans protested yesterday. God bless every one so involved, and all those who supported them.

I was at the Ft. Worth event. Myself, my wife, my brother and my youngest daughter stood in the pouring rain for about six hours. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram said there were "over 1000" people there. The rain didn't dampen our spirits. My daughter looked at me and said "This is exhilarating!" I told her she is part of history now.

I urge everyone to join their local 912 or Tea Party group. Also check out goooh.com. We are organizing as patriots to take back our country. It's going to take a lot of work but we have at least begun.

The Tea Party movement's core purpose and motivation is opposing Tyranny and (re)affirming Liberty!

Rights exists solely as a way to fairly decide whose will shall prevail in cases where two or more people disagree. They do not exist for the purpose of enslaving one person for the benefit of another (e.g., the "right" to free medical care.)

Liberty is the right to do whatever does not infringe the rights of others. Rights empower you to help yourself, free from interference by others.

Tyranny makes you a serf to be used by the elite to further their own power. Once upon a time, the nobility used religion to convince the serfs they had to serve the nobility. Modernly, the elite use good people's feelings of altruism to convince them to enslave both themselves and their neighbors. It's basically the same con game, just using a more sophisticated hook.

I feel exactly the same. I am down with a blown-out ankle right now. But in the summer of 2010, in conjunction with whatever 912 project is planned before the mid-term elections, a bunch of us are going to deliver our petition and signatures to congress for Constitutional Restoration.

We are going to make that trip, and hopefully be amongst millions of patriots for their 912 and Tea Party events when we do.

There were many more people there to the right and left of this picture than are in this picture. Also there were so many folks there you couldn't hear or see anything so a number of folks were just milling around the Mall.

Not a word of coverage in the online edition of my hometown paper. I googled protest and got a September 7, 2009 article on protest in South Africa. I am too furious to look at the print copy at the moment to see if there is even a mention. The only reason we still take this paper is for the word puzzles.

I read that ACORN took out a permit for that space to keep our side off it so that the crowd estimates would be skewed.

Those are some of the best photo’s I have seen Jeff. The crowds looks like it stunts Time Square on New Years Eve, and is on par with the Pope’s Blessings at the Vatican, which are the only things I can think of when I see them.

I was there, being fortunate enough to not live that far away. I kept asking people where they were from - California, Nevada, Arizona, Minnesota, Tennessee. I heard second-hand of someone there from Alaska (and I don’t believe her name was Sarah). One lady carried a sign saying (figures are approximate but not that far off): gas: $236; hotel: $484, meaning that she had come from far away and was wiling to pay all that money and spend the time to go to the demonstration. The sound system could have used some improvement, but the organizers probably did not anticipate a crowd that size. For what this is worth, I was interviewed and filmed by the French press on the way to the Capitol.

Let’s keep the momentum going.

That does not look like a pic from yesterday. Too sunny...speakers set up all along the mall in the middle, no crowd up to the Capitol steps like yeserday.

IMHO, that looks more like the Promise Keepers in 1997 to me.

Fabulous and very telling photos — no one can ‘deny’ this event took place, yet they still try. Local papers here in L.A. (more moderate than LA Slimes) refused to put anything on front page and instead relegated the story to page 16 with NO photo at all and tens of thousands described as being in D.C. They emphasized Hitler mustaches on Zero’s photos and other more controversial signage, not what most of us routinely saw yesterday. Nice way to spin it, you ‘in the tank for Zero’ jerks.

Here in L.A. the 912 group had a few thousand at federal building on Wilshire and it was fantastic — Wilshire is heavily traveled and most of the horns honking were in our favor. Interestingly, drivers of business trucks, many from small businesses, were most enthusiastic. Makes sense.

Hope we do this more often — let’s not wait — keep the pressure on.
