Not everyone at the NBC Universal umbrella of networks got the gag order memo about the Sept. 12 march on Washington, D.C.

Rick Santelli, who has been a target of the Obama White House and is credited with being the inspiration for the 2009 tea party movement, spoke out about how the media ignored the march. But, a year after the fall of Lehman Brothers, he was making the larger point that the government's intervention to thwart a financial crisis had been an ineffectual and potentially dangerous maneuver at the expense of taxpayers.

Santelli is still fighting the good fight despite being dismissed by his CNBC colleagues.

Maybe Santelli should go over to the Fox Business Network.

I stopped watching CNBC years ago because of their liberal bent.

Rick was a good reporter then probably a better one now.

How many CNBC people have come over to Fox or Fox Business?

How long before Santelli moves over to FBN or FNC? Stossel left ABC... Who’s next, Lou Dobbs? There are SO few real journalists on MSM networks now, that all the real ones are headed toward Fox.

No, we need him behind enemy lines carrying out harrassment operations. CNBC has much bigger audiences than Fox Business (political orientation of their personnel aside, CNBC is the superior network, IMO), so Rick really serves the conservative agenda better where he is.

Rick Santelli is the father of the modern tea party movement. We owe him. Hats off to a good man.

Santelli is learning what we already know: that the Democratic news media tailors the news to meet its political agenda. Ignore them, and maybe they’ll go away.

FINALLY! The Rush Limbaugh Show | 9/14/09
Rush proposes next tea party events at National Media Outlets

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2339380/posts

The media is the enemy’s front line defense, until they are confronted and exposed nothing gets better! There is an ABC,NBC, CBS, CNN affiliate in every city. We could ALL attend these protests nationwide! At least they would get local coverage...my CBS affiliate had NO news on Saturday night - zip! They can ignore and lie about protests when held in one spot, but they can’t ignore us in every city at the same time.

The time is right...LET’S ROLL!

Poll: News Media’s Credibility Plunges CBS News 9/14/09

Nearly two-thirds of Americans think the news stories they read, hear and watch are frequently inaccurate, according to a poll released Sunday by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press. That marks the highest level of skepticism recorded since 1985, when this study of public perceptions of the media was first done.

“What demonstrations? I watched network news, I didn’t see any,” Santelli said. “What demonstrations are you talking about?”

Got to love this guy!
