At least ten people were arrested after police were attacked with bricks and bottles as demonstrations outside the Harrow Central Mosque in north London turned violent. Officers were caught in a stand-off between hundreds of anti-Islam and Muslim protesters outside the mosque, in Station Road, Harrow late on Friday.
Heavily armed police struggled to contain the escalating violence and at least 10 people were arrested as more than a 1,000 people descended on the area.
Scotland Yard condemned the violent protesters, many of whom had covered their faces with ski masks, motorcycle helmets and scarves.
The violence came after the Stop Islamification of Europe (SIOE) group pledged to hold a peaceful protest outside the mosque, which coincided with the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Counter protests were also planned at the site, where a new five-floor mosque is under construction.
After a day of peaceful protests, tensions reached boiling point when a gang of at least 100 pro-Islamic demonstrators broke away from the main body to chase away a small number of the anti-Mosque marchers.
Police wearing riot gear responded by closing roads and kettling in the protesters outside the mosque, refusing to allow movement between their lines.

It’s interesting to follow the wording that the liberal press over there uses. It used to be “far-right something-or-others” verses the “anti-fascists”. Now at least they use “muslim”.

This is what happens when years and years of ‘political correctness’ have been forced on a society by the liberals. What struck me when I lived there....is that the ‘Union Jack’ is considered ‘racist’. It only flies on government buildings....or people wave them when they are rallied to view ‘royalty’. I see it happening here, folks, and it’s sickening. I feel as though I’ve been to the ‘dark side’.....and am ‘sounding a trumpet’ of what I see happening here after moving back from abroad. It’s frightening.

If police snipers automatically targeted masked men, this would stop real fast.
A lot of memories for me at the mention of Station Road, Harrow. Eight miles from my home town in England. For it is close by the elite public school -Harrow School. Winston Churchill went there, Lord Palmerston and the "Bad" Lord Byron the poet, were those who walked up the hill to the school. Byron threw his lot in with the besieged Greeks nearly 200 years ago. He worshipped the Greeks and had no use for the Muslim Turks.
Harrow School is still there with it's elites. As for old England proper, it may be no more, I fear. I lost my blue British Army beret and sweated bullets. Just out of the railway station at Harrow was the Army and Navy Store. All sorts of goodies. I got a replacement there. The famous Harrow Colosseum, where the last of the old music hall troupers plied their trade was a going concern. It was just down the road.
A bit off topic and I return to the subject. I am sorry to say that the rotten overall multi-cultural scene is not a dream of English folk dancers and merry maids, intertwined with some exotic flamboyant cultural fandango.

I did some Wikipedia work, never heard of them before. Saw their photograph as a group. Ironically after singing such garbage they check into a well ordered hotel, they enjoy room service. The eat the best foods undisturbed, or if anyone annoys them, call the detective/security. Then return to where ever they live in peace and comfort. Laughing as they no doubt imbibe whatever is at at hand.
The fools that buy this are to be pitied or feared.
