On Sunday, CBS Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer praised President Obamas recent media blitz for health care reform: "Theres no question he is the best salesman on the staff," but wondered: "Does he run the risk of overexposing himself?" Politco.coms Roger Simon dispelled that fear: "It is a risk, but he keeps topping himself."
Simon elaborated on Obamas oratory skill: "Every time you think this guy cant give another speech thats better than the last one, he gives another speech thats better than the last one. And hes achieving his purpose." He added that the Presidents address to Congress last Wednesday: "was to unite Democrats around him. As a man who can get this job done."
In the same segment, Schieffer also spoke with syndicated columnist Kathleen Parker, who gushed: "There is always that risk of overexposure. And yet, if you watched his speech yesterday in Minneapolis, he sort of redeems himself every time he goes out there in front of the public, because he is so good."

Shuck and jive acts, you can find the same lies on near every street corner in America. Just look.
Except most of them are selling drugs.
“but wondered: “Does he run the risk of overexposing himself?”
You mean in a Bawney Fwank kinda way?
Yep, he reassures and redeems himself with every speech and appearance, IN THE OPINION OF LIBERALS/RADICALS/MSM. Is he persuading Middle America or anyone who is not already very liberal, that is the question. Anybody can preach to the choir. Anybody can find 15,000 friendly people to fill up Target Center and cheer whatever you say.
He's a two-bit snake oil salesman.
Schieffer makes him sound like some sort of highly skilled honest broker.
“Theres no question he is the best salesman on the staff”
If by “staff” they mean the White House staff, maybe. If they mean he’s the best salesman in the contemporary political industry, or in American history, then they haven’t been paying attention to reality.
Does swine flu start with nausea after reading print material?
I thought Roger Simon was with Pajamas Media.
Bob Schieffer another so-called fair and independent moderator of presidential debates. LOL
“Barack Obama is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I’ve ever known in my life.”
Firearms salesman of the century !!
OMG I am beginning to think Dan Rather was a voice of reason there
“Theres no question he is the best salesman on the staff,”
That’s exactly what Remington and S&W said.
LLS
Best gun salesman...
We really need Kathleen in the Republican party. I mean really, these moderates are just so valuable and reliable.
You can only stack scat so high before its own weight will topple it.Will be fun to watch.
The ratings companies were great salesmen too when they were slapping AAA ratings on all those mortgaged backed securities and credit derivaties.
His superior salesmanship has led to a consistent and overall steady decline in his popularity and is now leading to the loss of key allies and enablers of his fraud in a pattern taht it appears has only just begun. Let’s hope he keeps believng his “clippings” that these controlled enablers of the MSM are providing him.
That is the funniest I have read in a long time. Thanks for clearing it all up.
I guess substance doesn’t matter. Just continue to lie and deceive and you get what you want. The Dems control Congress overwhelmingly. He needs to convince his fellow Dems.
By lying and mis-representation of the facts. This coming from Bob Schieffer who knew nothing about ACORN or Van Jones. What an idiot.
Well, he is one of the best salesman the firearm and ammo industry has ever had. And yes, Katleen Parker is an idiot. Apparently to be a "Conservative" in the msm one only needs to bow before "the one".
The media is no longer mainstream ... They went radical years back.
Simon elaborated on Obamas oratory skill: “Every time you think this guy cant give another speech thats better than the last one, he gives another speech thats better than the last one. And hes achieving his purpose.”
Kind of reminds me of that Twilight Zone episode w/Billy Mumy where all the grown-ups have to agree with Billy or he turns them into toys.
He “keeps topping” himself with lies.....on that I would agree.
Willy Loman WAS a Great Salesman too......
You nailed it.
Barf Alert!
Bam is “Lyin’ John” from the “Dilbert” Cartoon. Full of grade a crap.
Disclaimer: I don't know if McNabb is sub par or not, but I do remember that's the point Rush was making when he got into trouble.
He is proving that he never intended to be “our” president.
He is ignoring the millions of voters who watch FoxNews.
How blatant can he be? He is tipping over the edge with this media blitz weekend coming up.
Why is he so determined to pass Obummercare? Who did he promise? He is running scared right now and looks to be frantic. What does he think they will do to him if he doesn’t produce Obummercare?
It’s time someone smarter than me, follows the money and finds out who is pulling Obummer’s strings.
He's just paying people off....Union by Union....
I bet the sidewalk 3-card Monte hustlers in NY love to see Bob Schieffer approaching.
Wow. I never thought there would be more intelligence on display among the individuals described in that Wichita News’ dumpster story (posted on FR), but Bob Schiffer et al. have made a true believer in me.
Dumspter persons, you can be The Oracle on CBS and CNN.
Great minds think alike.
He’s done wonders for the Rugers and Smith and Wessons of the world.
I like the "Simpson's Halloween Special" take on that episode, too.
were they talking about Kanye West or Baraq Obama or both, LOL
Always sad when one of ours goes to the dark side :(
More liberal jounrnalistic fellatio. Why are some people still calling the Politico non-partisan?
The rest must REALLY suck!!
He's so good, his numbers continue to fall.
Just keep your eyes on the gauges (polls and congressional vote counts).

I remember in my teens pushing newspaper subscriptions and being told I was a great salesman by people who didn’t buy.
It’s not the pitch, it’s the number of sales.
