While the rest of his party was celebrating the choice of novice VP candidate Sarah Palin last August, then-President George W. Bush attempted to inject some reason and caution into the melee, according to a new book by a former White House speechwriter.

This doesn’t sound like Bush.
The GOP Establishment hated Reagan and Goldwater, too.
It didn’t exactly stop them.
Shouting racism and calling Sarah inexperienced are LIES.
He didn’t like her because she is a conservative.
Sarah should have known better to go on that dimwit Katie’s show and talk conservative politics.
This schmuck releases his book just as the conservative movement has found its voice and is soaring.
Epic fail on his part.
Don’t sweat it. Bush wouldn’t fund the border fence, would sell off our ports to Dubai. Those ain’t exactly smart things. He kept us safe for 8 years, and kept the Supreme Court safe, but after those two things, nothing to write home about. He’s too self-focused to understand Palin...he even pissed off Cheney time to time.
Another fake-”Republican” Bush / McCain staffer.
Seeing a pattern here. Both campaigns were (completely) compromised by liberal agents.
> “’This woman is being put into a position that she is not even remotely prepared for,’” Bush is quoted as saying in Matt Latimer’s new book “Speechless: Tales of a White House Survivor.”
Not prepared for? I see: the only solution is to elect a Kenyan community organizer instead.
That means he didn't say it, so damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.
...they are worried sh**less....anything to bash a popular Conservative. The Daily News is the NYT lite....
I believe this writer, another person trying to make money on the “Blame Bush” bandwagon - has had these assertions debunked already.....many threads about it on here.
Supposedly the writer claims President Bush didn’t know who Palin was - and was she the governor of Guam? When 3 weeks earlier he had met personally with her.....
So, puhleaze, do not put much stock in these claims.
Big mistake, but that’s what you get when you are being handled by McCain retards.
It was a smear machine.
“This doesnt sound like Bush.”
Apparently it’s not. Matt Latimer is a proven liar.
Now that does.
He started the Stimulus nonsense, left the borders wide open, and kept Ramos/Compean in jail.
What doesn’t sound like him?
