Black Tea Party Express Tour Team Member Experienced Racism
The American Thinker ^ | September 16, 2009 | Lloyd Marcus

Posted on 09/16/2009 3:38:01 AM PDT by Scanian

traveled on the Tea Party Express tour bus as a singer/songwriter, entertainer and spokesperson; 16 states, 34 rallies in two weeks. I experienced vicious racial verbal attacks, not from the tea party protesters. The racial hate expressed against me all came from the left, people who support President Obama's radial socialist agenda.

Unfortunately, my deleted email box is littered with numerous messages expressing the following:

"You are the dumbest self hating f****** n***** I have ever seen!"

These racists are outraged by my opening lines I boldly proclaimed at each rally. "Hello my fellow patriots! I am NOT an African-American! I am Lloyd Marcus, AMERCIAN!"

He’s a courageous guy, many should be like him.

There’s only one race: Human.

I, for one, certainly like that as an opening line.

We had the pleasure of meeting him at the Albany TEA Party Express rally. What a good Patriot and a super nice guy. He speaks the truth, which is a threat to the Marxists.

One of my former supervisors was a “African” American (Black lady) that I love to death. We still talk to each other on Facebook. An avid Obama supporter, we had so much enjoyment with each other over the last 2 elections. She never considered race when chastising Bush and she never considered me a racist when I cut down Bammy and vice versa. She is an intelligent woman, at least in the area of not pulling out the race card whenever Bammy gets it from me.

“”You are the dumbest self hating f****** n***** I have ever seen!” “

Classic case of projection.

From what I saw, he seemed very happy with himself.

I enjoyed his performance and the man spoke pure truth.

What’s not to love?

He made an interesting statement on Fox just a few minutes ago. That the charge of racism is used to deflect the argument. Instead of answering the charge of lying, the force you into apologizing for your perceived racism.

He’s right.

Calling someone a racist is an ad Hominem attack. It is an admission of defeat.

The moment it happens (and it happens a LOT) I reply "you're a tired old race-baiter who just lost the argument".

By shading Obama with the racial umbrella, the left is saying he ain't good enough to stand on his own merits. They are slighting him and all darker skinned Americans as not being good enough without the racial umbrella. They are being dispicable racisist in the mold of the worse slave owners and uncle Toms.

They are saying blacks are not as good as whites. They are pathetic.

Statements from the past:

Former President Theodore Roosevelt in speaking to the largely Irish Catholic Knights of Columbus at Carnegie Hall on Columbus Day 1915, asserted that,

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all... The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic... There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

President Woodrow Wilson regarded “hyphenated Americans” with suspicion, saying, “Any man who carries a hyphen about with him carries a dagger that he is ready to plunge into the vitals of this Republic whenever he gets ready.”

In many ways, black conservatives have a much harder time than whites. As a white male, people actually expect me to be conservative which I guess is a form of stereotyping. However, when a black man stands up for conservatism, it shakes the norm. Why, all black men are supposed to be lefties who support Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and now Barrack Obama. A lot of times, if you do not conform to the typical leftist views of black liberals you are ostracized from the black community. More stereotyping of blacks usually by blacks. The funny thing is that the majority of the black community is far more conservative on social issues than the Dumbocrats even though they vote in mass for Dumbocrat candidates.

I always felt the way the Marine Corps handled this issue was the best way. In the Marine Corps, there were no blacks or whites, just light green Marines and dark green Marines.

I did the American Thinker a favor. You and I have a God given right to make misteaks. But a publication does not. Especially when it is on my side. Let liberals be sloppy, let them not proofread and have people see the unprofessionalism. I'll call our side on it.

Except for you and me. We're entitled. Net nannies slow down the free flow of ideas in forums.

It doesn't piss me off. It makes me go "Oh no" when I see unprofessionalism by conservatives.

I post mainly on forums where I can slug it out with liberals. Noticed the typo when I previewed this article on one of those forums. Had I not caught it, the first liberal reply would have been "Its a stupid article, he can't even spell".

The American Thinker is making a sales pitch. Being sloppy does not make a sale.

I do a local on-line paper which is miniscule compared to the American Thinker. We don't get paid. But we don't publish copy with typos. We have three people check everything.

Double bingo. And those villafying him—what do they believe in: To be educated is to be white (a bad thing), broken families, Black male and female refusal to take personal responsibility, entitlements, dependence on big governement (not much different than the old plantation system), etc.

I take my hat off to Black individuals (like “scanian”), Black families and Black neighborhoods who try to get their kids educated so they have more to look forward to than dependence on government, drugs and gangs.

Spot on. The ultimate in racism is the Liberals' intimation that no black person could succeed without the affirmative action programs the Liberals have imposed on them, when in reality competance is truly color blind.

That "African-American" thing drives me crazy. Seems to me it was put forth by those who seek to divide us.

I am not European-American. I'm an American who happens to be white. I have no automatic allegiance to others who share my skin color, nor do I have automatic allegiance to those who share the geographic background of my ancestors.

I just posted on another thread that I teach my kids that people can be broken down into two groups, and that's it; good people, and bad people.

Not all black people are from Africa anyway. My great great grandmother was black, and was married to a white man. They immigrated from Ireland.

Those who don’t have faith, statistically, are less happy and are more bitter than those that do.

And, those without faith can’t understand why anyone else would be happy considering how crappy the world is, and hate them for it.

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
