“Because America remains a conservative country...”

Horsefeathers. Who in the heck voted for so many da*n Democrats in the last election?

Still conservative? Wait until 2010 when they vote in more Democrats. (When they pull the lever for Democrats they feel so intellectual, so brilliant.)

IMHO

If one party has trouble with the economy, there's always a movement to the other party.

His point is that the voters who swung to Obama expected him to be more moderate. They weren't "movement Conservatives" but they aren't liberals either.

If you read "conservative" as "small c conservatism" or as "more conservative than Obama" it's a valid argument.

He accuses the electorate of being schizophrenic...I believe they were simply fed up with the false choice situation...and a certain number were also genuinely duped by the Main Socialist Media coverup of the realties of the Obama communist affiliation. Look at how they were able to tar and feather Joe the Plumber..in the minds of some “independents”...despite him merely asking a question of...and disagreeing with the redistribution mantra of the annointed one.

There are too many Democrat wannabees around who need to feel brilliant. They listen to liberal journalists and become engrossed in all those “heavily nuanced”, brilliant articles written by brilliant intellectuals and voila, they become brilliant.

One day they’ll become so brilliant that they’ll be able to figure out who is going to be next to the re-education camp. (What a bunch of hateful, adolescent, macaroons.)

IMHO

“Well, I am one person that recognized the hallmarks of a first class snake-oil salesman. He had to many weasel worded statements in his speeches, and there was a low-key background noise about his friends. I didn’t vote for him because he was just too damned smooth. “

And his promise to “distribute the wealth”. That set off alarms and blinking red lights all over me before November 4th.

Right with you. I have been in small business for almost 30 years and have an instinctual distrust of any political weasel with the letter “D” past their name. Enemy within. Gut was right on this one. As for all the morons running around saying that if we can’t stand a black man in the white house, then I respond that they can’t stand a black man sitting on the supreme court, Clarence Thomas. Little judo there.
