Abject Surrender in the Dead of Night

Czechs are used to betrayal by their Western allies. It was at Munich in 1938 that British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain sealed their doom in exchange for a piece of paper promising "peace in our time." The fact that this further gutting of missile defense came on the 70th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland on Sept. 17, 1939, is an eerie coincidence. "Just after midnight I was informed in a telephone call by President Barack Obama that (his) administration had decided to pull out from the planned missile defense shield installations" in the Czech Republic and Poland, the Czech Republic's interim prime minister, Jan Fischer, said at a Thursday news conference. Coming after the Russian invasion of Georgia and Moscow's efforts to destabilize that prospective NATO member as well as Ukraine, it bolsters Russia's efforts to rebuild the old Soviet Union's sphere of influence and sends the message that the U.S. can't be trusted as an ally that can keep its promises.

[Continuing] In March, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski noted that Poland had taken "something of a political risk" in agreeing to the deployment of 10 ground-based interceptors on its territory. "When we started discussing this with the United States," he said, "the U.S. assured us they would persuade the Russians that it was purely defensive and it would be a noncontroversial decision." We lied.

The fall of the Soviet Union was not the work of Bush I, or even or Reagan. It was mainly due to the courage of the people in Eastern Europe.

It is inexcusable that the Obama administration has carried out this betrayal. Obama is a traitor, not to be trusted with anything. He is dirt.

We are in mortal danger as long as Obama and his supporters have anything at all to do with our government.

And they will be power for four years.

For all of those people who blithely said "oh, we will just fix everything after the Kenyan Clown breaks them", well, maybe it's dawning on them that in areas where the executive has carte blanche, that it's not going to be possible to recover from all of the damage that this administration intends.

And if he gets any of his major entitlements, each of those will be a permanent anchor on this country.

The pattern is clear. O will create a PR reason for every action and bases every decision on “experts” (czars or cabinet officers). It is an acknowledgment that O has NO necessary experience for the job. His czar fetish is an admission that he is clueless. They serve as buffers.

He gets to do what He wants without taking any responsibility.

My Opinion:
Putin has a copy of Obama’s Birth Certificate, or whatever document it is that Obama is hiding, and is using it as leverage.

Obama operates with total "Plausible Deniability." E.G., in the Health Care Debate, he knows ... and wants to know .... nothing about what is in the various bills.

Within the dialectic he uses, he therefore cannot be accused of lying. He stakes out very extreme positions ... and then is rewarded as a "Peacemaker," and "Bi-Partisan Compromiser" when he appears to backtrack, e.g. , on the "public option."

We simply have never had a President who has been so deftly managed before. He's a dummy and an excellent multiple teleprompter reader, but we really have no idea who the chief ventriloquist is from day to day, or how many there actually might be.

Our enemies are on the march. The next four years are going to be very, very ugly.

You have a point there. Ann Coulter wrote Treason when Obama was first being walked around Clintonista staff-reunion parties by Vernon Jordan, but her thesis was completely predictive of what Obama has done in foreign policy while in office.

Democrats hate the United States and its people and they love Marxists and their firing-squad leaders like "Che" Guevara.

Has obama done anything that benefits America? obama started his campaign and presidency by fighting to keep his past a secret. Once elected, he promptly insulted our long term friends and allies while his first interview was to the muslim world. He has weakened us militarily, slowing or canceling many programs including the F-22, our sole state of the art air superiority fighter. And now, on the 70th anniversary of the Nazi invasion of Poland, obama breaks our missile defense promise to Poland and the Czechs. He's nationalized two major car companies, something similar with the finance system, along with student loans? The list goes on and on and on and it's not even been a year since the election! Where is all this heading??? No wonder people are buying guns, ammo, gold and silver. God help us all.
