Did you happen to see Bill O'Reilly last night, scratching his head to a gelatinous mass over the increasing anger in America with Barack Obama? Throughout the program he puzzled that somehow, increasing numbers of Americans actually tie the scandals of ACORN to the Communisty Organizer in Chief. But, he knows much too much, from way too many interviews and conversations with the powerful, to be so gullible as to fall into that trap, himself. After all, reports of nefarious Acornistas are unheard of, to even ABC's Charlie Gibson.
I have a friend who talks about "aperceptive filters" established beliefs, which inhibit the formation of new understanding. Such a mental block must plague many establishment conservatives, from Fox News' O'Reilly and Neil Cavuto, to what, all but a dozen or so in Congress. Apparently, to them, considerations of global Marxist-fascist conspiracies are mind game relics so Twentieth Century. Surely, nothing of the sort ever took root in America, anyway....

The unrelenting media attacks have really taken their toll. O’Reilly has been beaten into a simpering, clueless, pretend “Independent”.
He went to Harvard correspondence kiddy academy( Kennedy Skool ).
What do you expect?
I like the Beck radio show a lot more however, he is hilarious on the radio. I died laughing in the car the morning they were laughing at Kennedy requesting Chapaquidick jokes. That was hilarious. Priceless.
I feel the exact same way and I bet there are millions likke us. Gee won’t be too sad when BOR can no longer claim he is the top rated cable show.
The refusal to research how many were in DC is a classic example. The DC Fire Dept NEVER issued asn official estimate and the guy who said 75 admitted it was early and he was eyeballing.
If BOR thinks he is getting obamites on board they can have him.
I think we FReepers should email Fox and let them know hoq we view BORs continued misstatements
'Nuf said.
Sorry, but when the overwhelming evidence is against the leftist, I see no reason to play devil's advocate and argue their point for them.
I used to like his show but the final straw was the way he reported the DC tea party.
BOR is a “feeler”, not a thinker.
I doubt that he does his own research because he never knows all the details of an issue. That black dem strategist, “something Lamont Hill”, told him that Giles and O’Keefe had been kicked out of many ACORN offices. In truth, they hadn’t been kicked out of one. Still, BOR took it as gospel and kept spreading the lie, once in his segment with Dennis Miller.
He says Hussein’s connection with ACORN is weak.
Anyone following the story knows the truth and he makes himself look like an idiot when gives incorrect information.
Good to hear someone else share these thoughts about Bill Bennett.
Smart man but (like so many talk show hosts...) his opinion is the only right one and the only one that counts. As a result, you can tell that he (and others) don’t really even listen to callers because they are so anxious to get rid of the caller so they can refute what was said with the correct (their!) opinion.
Just the way I see it...
Very cute! :-) It describes him perfectly!
Bilious the BORe.
That was when I started screaming.
What exactly was BOR's contribution besides inviting Beck to his program?
I had the same reaction last night.
ping
“He had his staff cherry pick posts by trolls”
Also, did you notice how BOR cherry-picked the signs to show from the 9/12 rally in D.C.? EVERY ONE they showed was unflattering, and definitely not indicative of the majority. They had to dig deep to find those signs.
Last night, I decided I’d had enough. I’m finished with him. He’s just stupid.
BOR was on the ACORN story last year but Beck took it to the next level when he moved to FOX. Bill’s current show does not lend itself to this type of investigative journalism, it’s more of a formatted show with segments while Glenn’s show is like him, all over the place and riddled with ADD. The only issue he really stretched out was the Red Cross (post 9/11 money use) and the Child Protection act (mandatory minimums for molesters and rapists).
Glenn has done the yeoman’s work on this and it’s a shame that a former dirtbag alcoholic DJ has been able to blow the lid off this while the media sips lattes with Obamaites hoping that their Christ, most merciful Obama will look their way and heal what ails them.
We heart Glenn in my house..
BOR is WILLFULLY Ignorant about Obama.
Have long wondered if O’R was some sort of
‘moderate’
. . . stooge . . .
designed to capture as many of the moderate conservatives and turn them to the globalists’ agenda as much as possible.
He’s from the white-guilt generation.
I am soooo sick of BOR! I still watch because I am always hopeful that Laura with be guest hosting. He hardly ever lets anyone finish their comments always jumping in and talking over them. Incredibly rude! Ann Coulter is the only person that doesn’t allow him to get away with it (most of the time...). Wish he would just stick to writing his books all about himself to feed the ego instead of hearing himself talk. When I heard him say that there were “75,000 people protesting in DC” I wanted to throw something at him, but I like my tv..... Shut up Bill.
Ever notice how he occasionaly reminds us that he attended Harvard?
