While that congressional action probably won't destroy the group, whose funding does not mainly depend on government largesse, the ban inflicts severe damage on its reputation.

Whatever non-government money they had is also finished. Like General Mills or Coca Cola are going to keep handing over money to an organization that counsels those who run child sex slave operations on how to hide their income from the government.

ACORN is done. Conservatives killed it because it needed killing.

i still suspect a back door, re-infusion of monies via some obscure amendment to an unrelated, 1000 page bill.
