Marie, where there's a will, there's a way. It's not just an old saying. It's absolutely true.

If you really focus your intention on doing that, things around you will begin to shift in the direction of that intention.

When my wife and I decided to uproot ourselves and move to Texas, we really didn't have any feasible way of doing it, but that didn't stop us from making that choice, and staying focused on our intention.

It didn't happen over night, but slowly conditions and situations around us began to favor the move to Texas more and more. Within a few months, we made that firm intention into a reality.

It all starts with a decision. The physical universe will catch up to your intention.

thanks for the inspiring story I will focus my attention on leaving this horrid state but when I get a job,(hopefully soon) my intention is to save up as much as I can. Thanks again, glad you could leave here before things really start to get ugly (if it hasn’t already).

They voted for change, and they got it. Enjoy!

Some of us fought hope and change and we still got laid off. Thanks for your support. (Remember that FR was conceived and "lives" in Cali too.)

" These jobs are not coming back, We dont want these jobs to come back (SOME OF US DO!), we will replace them with new jobs, green jobs " Barak Hussein Obama 2/09

But, Obama and his former 'green czar' can't tell you what a 'green job' is!

That's good, but don't let the nuts and bolts of "how" you're going to leave get in the way of your intention to leave.

If you let your mind go down that path, your intention will become secondary to worrying about "how" you're going to get it done. Just stay focused on the end product - not all of the hows and wherefores. That's a trap.

Do this. Think of where you'd like to move to. Get out a big sheet of paper and write the name of that place in large letters. Better yet, find a photo of the place. Pin it up where you have to see it all the time. It'll help you stay focused.

Don't worry about how you're going to get there. Thought and intention are senior to the physical universe. Stay focused, and what you need will come to you.

Obama’s chickens ...... have come home ...... TO ROOST!!!!!!

I certainly hope so!

While Michelle Obama shuts down DC to shop for 'organic veggies' and $5 a dozen 'organic eggs' the rest of the country can go to hell, I guess!

I wonder how people without jobs view that? I know I view it as elitist and out of touch.

Look at the bright side. With no jobs, it’ll drive all of the illegals out of here. Where they go, nobody knows.

Yeah, the state employees who have the “Proud to be a State Employee... keeping California healthy, safe & strong” signs on their lawns right now.

Signs that our tax dollars paid for. THEY LIVE dude.

Nooooo, you two are kidding right? I prefer Bibi- a man who could sweep you up and whisk you off to safety. RE is too slight and conceited.

That's the sad part. Many that didn't want change are hurt along with the rest. My wife was laid off from her job because of the economy. The company had to eliminate her position, and we're in a “red state”! My heart goes out to those that are affected by the economy through no fault of their own. My disdain goes to those that voted for Obama and didn't care about the consequences. States like Michigan, California, and New York that went big for Obama. I'm not sympathetic to the majority of voters that supported Obama’s “change.”

If I were a state employee, I wouldn’t want to make my house a potential target like that.

The commie’s in California’s legislature and their enabler Arnold enacted cap and trade already under a bill known as AB 32 which is already beginning to smother production and growth. The there’s the problem of one little fishy that’s shutting down the most productive swath of agricultural land on the globe.

The day will soon come when we long for unemployment figures as low as 12% - all of us, nationwide.

I have no input on which lawn my dog chooses, but... (haha!) I know, right? Pride before a fall. I’ve felt like leaving them all notes “congratulating” them on their part in California’s performance that says something to the effect that however many “Makers” paychecks have to get raided to pay just one state worker “Taker,” it’s totally worth it since they’re doing such an a excellent job “... keeping California safe, healthy & strong” and in such great fiscal shape.

But then their Union Thugs would probably pervert that into some commercial about how much support the state workers are getting... spending even more of my money to lie about these purple-shirted parasites.
