Asians are overwhelmingly a self-sufficient group who work for a living and help one another....and don't become dependent on the dole, i.e., the demRats.

IMHO importing slaves were the worst short term and long term act the Americans ever made..

Ending the trans-Atlantic slave trade was the best thing Britain ever did for this country. And ending chattel slavery was the best thing Lincoln did for this country. Not true, Lorianne. Asian-Americans (immigrant or not) tend to be Democratic, with only Vietnamese Americans leaning GOP. Chinese, Japanese, Filipinos, etc. are heavily Dem, and I expect Bhutanese and Burmese to be the same.
